Not wanting to clog up the board with pointless posts, so I'll put it here: How many do we graduate next year? I can't find a depth chart or roster which reflects what we'll have next year. Obviously it won't be exact because of the question of cuts to meet our scholarship limit, but I'm wondering, ballpark, how many seniors we lose next year.

Looking at lsusports.net, I see 16 SRs on scholly. I know Stampley was a walk-on, but he might have been given a scholly with his play the last couple of seasons. He would make 17 total.
As far as attrition goes, Derrick Bryant could still transfer, due to the fact he didn't redshirt. As well as Jarrett Lee.
The one that confuses me is Dennis Johnson. I thought he was a walk-on, but his profile says he was a transfer. I'm not sure if he has a scholly.

Wow. So as good as we expect to be this coming year, we have a chance to be even better the following year.
I can deal with that.
Is our self-imposed limit done after the recently signed class, or does it continue on for the next class? Because I like this upcoming year for us and would rather we weren't limited to fewer than 20 recruits...

OBUDan selects:
Derrick Mitchell, DT, FSU
This is a guy I feel like gets overlooked because of the more highly touted DT going to FSU, Tim Jernigan. Jernigan is likely the superior player, but Mitchell does have the athleticism and frame to potentially grow into a difference maker that Jernigan cannot. Though, his bust potential is also much higher. I like his mobility and athleticism, and he's a lean 285 that can still add good bulk/muscle and become a better anchor in the run game to make him a really well rounded DT.
