I kept waiting for Tdawg to take him. He's been on my list for a while but there was always someone I liked just a little more. Should be a solid player though.

My DT position is already full, so I couldn't take him. He's supposed to take over for Alameda Ta'amu who is going to be a Senior this year. He's a tank and would have been ranked higher except for he takes plays off and doesn't play with great intensity. Hopefully that will change at the next level.

I'll have you know, I almost changed from a 3-4 to a 4-3 to draft him, but I just couldn't figure out how I would change up my defense. I really feel that this kid is going to be good.

I don't think I would have drafted him this high, but if I were still in the market for a DT, I wouldn't have waited much longer.

P.S.: Since most people forgot about the draft today, I'm sure my pick will come up tomorrow when I'm busy with work. Good times.

Pasty here: At this point & with the way this draft has gone, my new plan is to take the guys I want and forget about waiting and hoping they remain available. I thought his offer sheet was pretty impressive for a 3 star, and I expect him to make an impact down the road. The kid was originally committed to FSU and flipped to Arkansas. I hope he redshirts. Offers included:

Arkansas
Alabama
Duke
Florida International
Florida State
Georgia
LSU
Miami (FL)
North Carolina
Tennessee
UCLA

Junior Pomee TE USC

I'm not sure how I plan using him yet but from what read he has a future at TE. Too slow for WR

I really liked this guy's film. He certainly looks faster than advertised on tape. Also gets off blocks well and is a nice tackler. Bet he starts for multiple years at Pitt.

I'll take Jabrian Niles, a DE out of W.P.Davidson in Mobile where my freshman roommate went to high school.

This guy is criminally underrated and he has a great chance to start right away, especially with all of the losses that Auburn is experiencing up front. I love his tape. He's got a great turn of speed for a big guy and I think he'll see some quick PT if he doesn't take a redshirt.

I had really wanted Corey Marshall to fall to me here, but I had several backups lined up just in case he didn't, and I'm very satisfied with the man I got.

jembeurt selects Ron Tanner, S Ohio State

Now I just need to figure out whether he is a Strong or Free Safety. He hits really hard and played in the box a lot in High School, but has very good coverage skills. Being the teams QB helps with being able to read coverage schemes while on defense.

I can't stop looking at the mohawk! It's like a traffic cone or something.
