How's that Prevot recruitment going? Not quite the lock you longhorns thought is he? How about losing Daeshon Hall as well? To the hated Aggies at that. How about Maurice Smith? Has he committed yet? What about Rashaad Samples? He's leaning Aggie too isn't he? Guess that Skyline pipeline isn't as strong as you guys thought. Hurts when the coach's son won't even commit to you guys doesn't it? How about Dontre Wilson? Is he a Longhorn yet? How about getting a visit from Justin Manning sometime this year? Oh that's right he's not interested in Texas. We can flame you guys just as well if not better.
Nobody has any clue what Prevot is doing, but Aggy thinks he'll commit to them at their spring game. I think we'll still land him though. Last time I checked, Hall was still committed to us, but nice try. Samples has a broken leg so I wouldn't be surprised if we were just lightly recruiting him to appease dad. Dontre will be ours May 25th, and Manning is all OU so flame all you want, but you ain't getting him either. I think that about covers everything
ETA: Maurice Smith will probably commit around when Antwuan Davis does.

It'd be a much better approach to attack UT in regards to how badly they've sucked recently rather than criticizing their recruiting, which is always strong. On the field, not so much.

Yeah they've been horrible of late on the field. Mack is about to be forcefully removed to the Athletic department.

I agree tigerfan4120. I mean when UT is loaded with Texas talent and goes 4-5 in the Big 12, it's kind of funny that UT fans like JCock come to the the LSU board and flame.

But it has appeared that every year until this year that all these guys would have already committed to UT, just saying

I've got my fingers crossed that Ole Miss finds a way to knock off Texas

You cant talk sense to people from Texas they hoot and holler every year about how great their recruiting is and then when it comes to putting it to the field they end up with 5-7 wins. So congrats texas on yalls amazing class so far and can't wait to see them amount to another mediocre season under Mack Brown.

Is hate for all things Texas so strong that it has made you guys retarded? Are we in such a what have you done for me 2 seconds ago world, that 1 5-7 season some how erases 10 straight 10 win seasons or that they were in the national title game 2 years ago? Guys that were freshman the last time Texas went to the BCS CG are still in college.
Trying to blast Texas for their recent record really makes you people look stupid with world record short attention spans.

This surprises you H-Town? Most people on the board can't seem to get past our last game! It will be interesting, however, to track LSU vs. UT for the next three to five years.

At least there is one rational LSU fan here. One complete abortion of a season and a better, but still mediocre, season and suddenly we're aggy? Good grief, the retard is strong is this thread

You think going 7-5 in the regular season in the Big 12, in which you a few games could have gone either way and the losses were all fairly lopsided makes sense when you are Texas, recruit better than everyone in the country, and have really no reason to be this mediocre?
And you want to come on our board and expect us to placate to your program and your fanbase? frick off.

Are you saying rational thought is even less welcome here than on the rant?

It makes sense when they have lazily recruited after their last NC.

This was the main culprit of the 2010 season and subsequent rebuilding year. They tried to get the class finished as quickly as possible each year so they wouldn't have to do anything, as opposed to the new staff that Mack has put together. They're all relentless recruiters and have pushed Mack to let them have a little more freedom in that department. This season could be like 2008, if the QB and OL situations get straightened out, but 2013 is the year we're expected to make a run for sure

Laugh all you want, sporto. He was in Baton Rouge a few weeks ago for a UIL basketball tournament. You're kidding yourself if you think LSU didn't know about it, or knew about it and sat on their hands.

I'd probably kill myself if LSU won 4 games in that shitty conference... Then ran away from said shitty conference. Torshiro dug his own grave.

Davis committed today. Burnt Orange Nation

The long wait is over. After the Texas Longhorns went nearly two months since the last commitment in the 2013 class, the drought finally ended on Friday, when Bastrop cornerback Antwuan Davis pledged to the Longhorns during a visit to the facilities ($), according to sources that spoke with ESPN HornsNation analyst William Wilkerso
...
At the time of his pledge, Davis held 16 offers, including invitations to play at Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, and both of the Oklahoma schools.
