Like RR wouldn't have to compete for a spot on any LEGITIMATE college team.....please!!!

His chances are the same at any big time school.

Does anyone know for sure it was RR's dad?

Nope he's done. Listening to it again...he sounds like he's grasping at straws at best to rationalize why he's not going to LSU.

I can't get the show at work. But, if the quotes on here are accurate, it may be that Randle and Benton are really friends. Randle does not mind competing with Tolliver for a position, but he does not want to have to compete with Benton. That does not necessarily mean he is afraid of Benton, he just doesn't want it to be an either-or type of deal. Hopefully LSU can convince both that there is plenty of room for them to both play.

He's called in to this show multiple times. They know it's him.

Maybe you are right. But hopefully if there is a misunderstanding and Miles can correct it he needs to talk to Reubens father. Otherwise we may not be in his future plans. Personnally, It makes no sense him not coming to LSU. We will have a QB to get him the ball for his 4 years and Bama won't and Oklahoma will have their QB for one year.

Why in the frick would you be completely silent for a year basically and then the eve of signing day start talking shite on local radio? So weird.

I'm inclined to agree with this. What's the agenda here? Why now?

He's going to use a voice alteration device to make him sound like a robot so that the NCAA won't know any better.

sounds like McKnight replayed. Doubt LSU was ever in it to begin with now.
I said this about a month ago and got blasted. I still think it, but of course I hope I'm wrong.

If he doesn't want to compete then go to Bama or OU. If it truly is a way to placate the LSU masses for choosing another school, it is pretty weak. Just come out and say the other school is the best fit for you and be done with it.

I hope he chooses LSU but as other have said we will be fine and prosper no matter what.

I think it could be to get more attention.

I know everyone says that RR's family is not like that. However, if you don't crave the attention, commit early.

Those that wait until NSD, crave the attention.

If this was really said by his father, I honestly lost respect for RR, his father, and anyone that has any factor in his decision. That is the most Cowardly thing I think I have ever heard. How does USC get the best WR's in the country, Pete straight up tells them, you have to win your job, period. Even if you are a SR, you have to win your job. He's a pussy if he is scared of competition. Even if it is Benton, Lafell, TT, you go in, compete and win the job.
