Replay of Emmit Randle interview on ESPN977.com in 5:00 hour

If you missed the interview, Emmit Randle called in to the show during the 3:00 hour. They will replay it on 97.7 Monroe/Ruston during the 5:00 hour.
Listen to what he says. He says that the coaches originally told them that Reuben would be competing with TT for the #2 spot but recently said that if D. Benton came, then RR would compete with him for the 3rd receiver spot.
It sounds like our coaches messed up and didn't stick to what they said originally. I encourage everyone to listen online or on the radio and don't trash anybody. RR very well may end up with LSU.

sorry but you have to compete with everyone. Playing time shouldn't be an issue for the nations#1 recruit. 3 receivers get on the field, sometimes 4....pick a school and go compete to play.

LaFell is gone after next year. TT may go early, why the hell should it matter? Does 1 year make that big of a difference? And who is to say he can't beat them out?

How stupid can his father be? He is a WIDE RECEIVER, which means he is going to compete with EVERY WIDE RECEIVER LSU has. Even though it probably wouldn't happen, LaFell is still competing for his #1 receiver spot, so what makes his son so special?

It's disheartening that this occured in the dead period. Now it can't be straightened out unless a text message can smooth things over. But everyone knew that we have been trying to get Benton in here for 2 years, even, I would guess, Ruebens dad. So him not knowing about Benton is strange. Besides, I would think that the best 3 or 4 WR's will start. And one would be Rueben.

Maybe I don't understand football?
Rueben is not going to beat our TT for a starting spot..TT is a great talent has 2 years experience and of learning etc... neither is Benton
Rueben this is 4 year decision, please don't base this on this season.. Please, think about it..
If your the guy, then you will be #1 WR for at least 2 years, maybe 3...
TT thought he was all world too, next year is his first year to start
