How can anyone deduce anything from any words spoken? There are very few schools of the type that LSU is where there is already a boatload of skill position players where Randle will step in and be in the #2 slot. Without a legit player of Benton's caliber, sure, Randle would push Tolliver, but with Tolliver, AND Benton, the competition is for #3, even for Tolliver.
If Randle doesn't believe his God given ability can earn him a starting role because LSU is overloaded at the position, then, uh, we should be damn grateful that we're over-loaded with enough incredible talent to scare away someone of RR's ability.
THAT, my friends, speaks volumes about the state of LSU football, not of Les Miles' ability to recruit, which with the great class that we have is beyond question.

Honestly I'd much rather compete with Benton, who has not taken a snap in college and is not proven. On top of that, Benton could be out of shape from spending the last two years getting his grades up. I'd be more scared of competing with Tolliver than Benton.

its not about the playing time or the positions. its about being honest.
plus i dont think benton and randle want to compete agasint one another for one spot, they would probably rather be at two diffrent positions but thats just my 2 cents.

i heard from my best friend's uncle that this was a ploy to see how the recruiting board on tigerdroppings would react. if there are enough "frick em" comments, randle intends to go elsewhere.
