Oh no, I am very happy with the final score. I made that comment mostly based on the comments before me, that we weren’t going to get a high enough road score tonight. This is much better than I was expecting.

It was a great road score. Next week we get Dean back which should help stabilize the beam lineup more.

I still think we should get Aleah another shot in the bars lineup. It was really good her first outing.

Hopefully Alyona can get healthy enough for post season at least to vault. I think Dunne has done a nice job stepping in on floor.

Arkansas has been having bar meltdowns the last few weeks. Jordyn might have to fire her fiancé lol

Not unpopular at all. Nailed it. And I’m saying that with the assumption that Kai doesn't come back. The quality of AJ’s lines were vastly noticeable compared to the routines ahead of her’s.

This bar rotation would be ideal abs could
Compete in the fine details with the likes of Florida and Michigan.

I saw that routine at the meet the bruins and thought she would be in their lineup for sure. I don’t know how Jay chooses his lineups on a weekly basis but he should put the most complete meaning form consistency and landings top priority. Dunne is just not consistent with that dismount to be in the lineup. Scholarship or popularity should not be the basis in a team sport. The same with Durante on beam. 9.8 are not gonna cut it this year to win championships. You literally have to have 1-6 able to score 9.9. Looking at bars only Haleigh and Sami and sometimes Alyona can score 9.9 in a neutral site. I think Aleah and Alexis can score higher than Dunne and Kai. The same with beam. There needs to be more than Aleah and Kiya scoring 9.9s. It’s gonna take between 49.4-49.6 across all events to win Sec,s and nationals. I think we have a team that can compete but lineups and injury’s are all over the place and that hurts with consistency. The coach have to put the ladies in the best position to win and to win especially when it counts.

I would like to see Jay move Kiya farther back in the bar lineup. She would get a higher score. Let someone else go up first either Kai, Elena, Alexis or Dunne.

Just here to say I’m sick of seeing Sami anywhere other than bars.

No disrespect to her but she’s only serviceable on bars.

I’ve been wondering if Jordyn would leave Arkansas to go back to UCLA. It doesn’t seem like Waller will last there too much longer. What do y’all think?

Wow Zoe miller looks so unhappy (even before her routine). Really hard to see. Konnor on the other hand looks great!

The mistake on the inbar completely derailed the entire routine, completely messed up the rhythm.

Konnors beam my god

Her beam was OUT OF THIs WORLD!

I am so glad she seems to be doing well after this tumultuous last year (especially few months) for her.

Does anyone know if they were just resting Haleigh on floor Friday night or was her foot flaring up again?

ETA: Ella Kate Parker the Junior Winter Cup Winner 2022 is from West Monroe, LA. She trains with Mary Lee Tracey. She was interviewed a while back and said she hoped to be a LSU Tiger in college.

According to her mom, Haleigh was just being rested on floor since the next meet is our last conference meet then senior night both at home. Both of those meats are more important for our postseason run compared to a quad meet with much lower ranked teams.

She is amazing. I’m just praying they keep her healthy as best they can. That gym has had some amazing gymnasts over the years but many have dealt with the injury bug

She will be a LSU Tiger once we can offer.

I agree TB357! Ella Kate has amazing skills. I assume Jay is watching her and perhaps Lily L will be of some influence having been in the same gym. She is 14 yrs but looks a lot younger.

Did you see her Yurchenko double on vault? She took a small step forward but the vault was good. She vaulted with her leotard in her mouth (to help keep her head in).

Will add that this is also the same gym that Lexie Priessman trained at

Yes. I am concerned that the same thing will happen with her as with Lexie — too much difficulty at a young age can be bad for the body long term (Lexie was injured for her entire senior elite career, and then most of her time at lsu)

CGA produces some excellent gymnasts. I think the knock on that gym (and many others) is many of their athletes seem injured more than what one would think. Injuries are part of this sport, more so than most others but you definitely have gyms out there where the injury rate is more excessive compared to others. Texas Dreams is another example of this.

Hopefully she has a great career and stay healthy. Definitely one of the most talented younger gymnasts in the country.
