I actually think it’s lineup worthy. I’m just talking about the gymnastics nothing else. She has great form and a legit dismount.

I knew the 9.9 was more like it! Don’t scores only change because of a start value discrepancy? In what world was her SV unsure? Curious what happened there?

The issue with Dunne is the form on the dismount. The line of her gymnastics is beautiful and I feel it’s a coaching issue not to see problems. Sometimes change is better when it’s a consistent problem for her

Feel like we have been talking about the same
problems for years. Routines that shouldn’t be in lineup are, bars dismounts are letting several people down when some great bars teams have double tucks (eg Cal), and every year we say ‘maybe the freshmen will be amazing’. They really are, but it’s not enough to make up for these poor routine and lineup calls. I’m just so frustrated at this point.

Beam scores are also low. I will say it did seem
That Elena was calmer on beam, so that’s great.

Did Kiya have several breaks on beam? 9.825 is low for her.

Also great routine for KJ. Get Sami out of the beam lineup - more than enough options between KJ, Dean, and arenas, etc (I know Dean is just out for night)

Why are we taking hayleigh out of floor? Is she hurt? If not, this is not the time to try edwards on floor.

And truth be told, she just landed short and put a hand down. But still..I had to stop
Watching because this is not going to get us where we need to be.

Seems like we take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Figuratively speaking lol

LSU's freshmen putting in work today, outstanding outing by both Aleah and KJ.

It should end up being a very solid road score despite not having our best lineups plus it wasn't Kiya's best day either.

197.625 is very good IMO. We can work with that.

Yes, ends up 197.625, which admittedly is a helpful score - and we lost some tenths with less than great lineups and not overly favorable scoring (which is maybe better - but not when scores are flying at other places), but has a great vault rotation!

I do not believe 197.625 is 3 steps back by any means! Excellent score on a night with shakes and bobbles. Only a top caliber team can score this high on a “mediocre” night.

Great job, girls! You are all amazing!!

Oh no, I am very happy with the final score. I made that comment mostly based on the comments before me, about some of the scores and routines early on in the meet and that we weren’t going to get a high enough road score tonight. This is much better than I was expecting!
