I though she had an injury she was working her way back. There were a bunch of senior elites who are qualified but not competing

Off topic for just a sec. Is the meet not airing on anything tonight? I dont see it on the SECN or even ESPN+. Twitter account doesn't say anything either.

LSU Twitter usually gives updates throughout the meet. That's just about the best way to follow if you don't buy a subscription to the LSC Network.

Ok thanks, might have to do a free week trial lol. It's been a while since it hasnt at least been on ESPN+. Even the 1st meet with just Centenary was SECN. Saw that Centenary was added to this meet too.

I’m not understanding this beam lineup or why Aleah isn’t in bars. Durante and Elena on beam. I’m so nervous because I don’t trust those routines . I know Kai is out but that’s not gonna cut it in post season

Why in the world is Dean not on beam? Is she injured? We have no meets to experiment with, at this point. Is Arenas a better choice on bars than Finnegan? I’m very worried about this score. It could be a high 197 or a very low 196.

To be fair, Jay didn’t have enough time coming after the GOAT coaches. Kupets has done much worse and been given more time.

It may end up working out but having Arenas and Durante both in the beam lineup at the same time is asking for trouble. Hopefully both hit but unless Dean Is injured or sick, resting her on a road meet which we need a good score is not very smart coaching strategy to me.
Hopefully its the lather and its not us just resting her.

That’s what makes no sense. You don’t rest a one event gymnast at this point so I can only assume Dean is injured or sick.

Elena should not be in instead of aleah and this vault lineup will not cut it - Sami has no business scoring above 9.7 really with the way she pikes down and I cannot believe that she is actually the best option. Elena and Sami in the beam rotation is a potential disaster waiting to happen.
And everyone is correct, he has no room for mediocre scores. I know we didn’t get as many chances, but it no longer matters - he will have to get exceent scores from
