The majority do but there are some that dont if their school doesnt have a very good coach. For those that dont, its typically bc they feel they can make more progress with their travel team compared to school ball.

And the Cammenzind sisters commit to Arkansas. Not surprising but wasn’t expecting them to pull the trigger this soon.

I was going to get to see our commits from the Bombers play at Imperial Park last weekend ( 3 blocks from the house), but I made the mistake and went to see the LSU at Missouri game. The blackjack table at Harrahs Kansas City did help...

Seriously I'm hearing a lot of great things about our kids on that team. We are in good shape for many years.

I saw the Bombers are playing in a College Station tourney in a few weeks. May stack that with the A$M football home game that weekend.

This years roster is up. Gonna be interesting with a roster of 30, especially with traveling and playing time.

On paper this is one of Torina's most talented classes. Obviously with the seniors returning it makes it more crowded and tight to get playing time but there are some that will definitely have the chance to play. Torina I'm sure will give kids opportunities and it will be up to them to make it count when they get on the field.

I think Hayden Brown will have a good opportunity to contribute some at catcher, especially if her bat translate like they think it can. Having another big bat in the lineup would be a big plus.

Alison Newland is one of my favorite recruits for this class. She was always so impressive when I got to watch her play for the Georgia Impact Organization over the years. . She is different from the current OF group we have in that she will provide a lot of power. I think Ali has a shot to get some at bats and playing time. Supposedly she is doing really well in practices so far.

I dont anticipate very big changes in the infield but Pilon was obviously a top recruit for a reason and played for one of the best travel ball programs in the country. She's a winner and she does a lot really well, from fielding to hitting. She has been working out at 2B but I think she will be battling it out with Tidwell.

Morgan Smith is gonna enter a pretty crowded circle but Beth will definitely give her some opportunities if she can.

I really don't anticipate many breaking a lineup this year due to what we return but I think a few have a shot to play. I think it will be challenging writing lineup cards this season.

How did Kayden Henry look for the bombers? When I got to see her in person before she really stood out. I know torina definitely has her as a top choice for that 2023 class.

I really want Katie Flannery from the thunderbolts. One of the best hitters in the 2023 class. Would be a tough pull out of Alabama but we also pulled Aleah Johnson from there (her teammate). I think Strood is on that team as well.

Baylea is also a great pickup for us... we played her HS a couple of years ago in a tournament at Lake Travis. Her coach told her that I'm a LSU alumni and big softball fan. She introduced herself to me very politely and I said hello, but we couldn't talk about LSU since I donate and she was a commit.

She hit a monster home run against my #2 pitcher who struck her out earlier on a bunch of junk pitches. But the next time, she figured us out and launched a slow drop like she was hitting a driver 350 yards!

We're getting a good kid here!
