In other news - Zoe gravier is switching her recruitment from ucla to bama. I think she has the potential to be be great in ncaa.

Yes, Bob Moore has done a wonderful job with the vaults. I feel like vault is one of the events where the girls really develop from the skills them come itno college with. Elena has improved so much, her block is so much better and her body line is very straight whereas at the start she was piking.

I don't think we have a chance at nationals with 2 fulls in the lineup. this would be my order at secs: Elena, Alonya, Sarah, Haleigh, Kiya, and then when everyone has hit put Kam last so there is no pressure on her and see how she does.

I honestly think LSU can survive with 2 fulls in the lineup given the quality of vaults LSU has although I would prefer for Ryan to obviously be in it obviously.
I am Much much more concerned with the bars situation than a vault lineup with two fulls
Our beam hasn’t put it all together yet either. Floor I think is back on track now that we have Kiya back.

I am just saying that because even Finnegan didnt get over a 9.9 at nationals with her full. I totally see what you mean about bars and i have already said what my lineup would be. I would put dean 1st and move kiya way back in the lineup. As far as beam I personally would pull campbell or move her up. She is just not an anchor this year.

I guess tomorrow will tell a lot. If they don’t have it together tomorrow, then I doubt we’ll see improvement by Regionals. Let alone Nationals. I would also feel better with five 10.0 SV vaults. Michigan, Oklahoma, and Bama all have six 10.0 vaults. With our bars not scoring well on the road, you don’t want to put your team too far behind the eight ball. Florida and Oklahoma are going to score well regardless...so you wanna look for any advantage you can.

I would agree - I had hoped that they might but Kam last in hopes to take the pressure off her and get her in the line up.

I think Jay confirmed it recently they won't half her dismount on bars until next year. Unfortunate they won't do it this year as this really is the only missing piece when it comes to her bar work.

Interesting that Caitlin Smith was pictured with the managers today. Wondering if she’s medically retired starting next year. Having that scholarship open is huge.

She hasn't been practicing, its expected at some point.
Its unfortunate she couldn't ever stay healthy but she seems happy here.
Btw, Annie Beard won the AA for Texas Level 10 State title. Bryce struggled on bars and beam but won vault with a 9.9 and finished 2nd on floor. Power events are legit for her, just will need to develop some more consistency on the other two events.

I’m excited for this evening but honestly very worried about Bama receiving ridiculous scores because they are essentially home. They have routinely been overscored in postseason when they are in Bama. They also tend to rise to the occasion so you have to give them some credit for putting out routines the judges could overscore, I suppose.
I don’t understand some of the lineups and probably never will but it is what it is. This season has shown that there are legitimately 6-7 teams who, on any night, win it all. No one has been dominant all season. Florida has been the most consistent, Oklahoma has been the best and also very subpar for them. Could be a fun post season with lots of surprises.

She is swinging again, not sure specifically how well she can tolerate hard surfaces/landings right now. Even if she is capable, I think they are being very cautious not to aggravate anything and set her back again.

Every routine for Denver on floor is a 9.875. No separation at all.
