I read on an Auburn website last night that their next meet is Feb. 12. No mention of the makeup with LSU. So I’m not sure.

Do we know if any of the girls tested positive, or just exposed to someone who was? There’s so much speculation and rumor. Wish they’d just say.

LSU is in essence being cancelled by gymnastic Karens.

Testing came back good. See y'all next weekend. The gymternet must be so relieved about the health of our team

I’m kinda happy the LSU-Auburn meet will be the only SEC meet next week. I won’t be as mentally tired from watching a lot of meets in one night.

So no one on the team tested positive? That’s great news if so!

Lol- so there weren’t 8 positives on the gymnastic team like the reliable source claimed?

Who are these Florida judges and how do we get them to come to BR...
Posted on 1/29/21 at 6:58 pm to Twz
The judges fell asleep during the bars rotation.
The Georgia Arkansas meet later should be interesting. Arkansas has been getting treated really nicely at home.
Side note, for Olivia Dunnes leap series on beam, I would love to see her do a switch leap connected to split jump instead of connecting it to the switch half. She has great flexibility and its a series she can hit with no deduction.
If Kiya comes back on beam, get rid of the front toss and let her to do the front Ariel like she did last year. For someone who deals with chronic achilles tenderness, no need to put additional stress on her body when she has enough difficulty already.
I think K. Ryan earned a spot in vault lineup next week. Our exhibition routines look great, just need experience. I hope Arenas works her way into bars soon.

So when the gymternet can’t pick on LSU, I see then they pick on Florida. How funny.
Yes, some of these scores are crazy. There’s not enough distance and separation in the scores. But when you stick your landings, the judges do tend to be more forgiving. That’s something LSU has yet to do thus far.

I think LSU will need to put Arenas and Dunne in more events, probably as soon as next week. Five meets in five weeks is gonna be tough.

I think it’s so cool that Florida has all 10.5 start values in their routines!

I am a bit surprised with how Arenas has been used so far. She clearly gives us so much depth, interesting we have used her so much on beam despite all the depth but don't use her on bars (her best event) when that event is already very limited depth wise. Arenas is clearly is a superior bar worker when compared to Brock and Dean but its interesting she hasn't gotten in yet. Supposedly she isn't injured but thats interesting to me. Unless she is struggling in practice, not sure I could explain that one. I think LSU really needs her to emerge in that 2nd spot before SEC's
Dunne I think was suppose to do two events at least but the ankle sprain set her back some. I think we see her on more events soon. Olivia has been training floor more within the last week
I love our walk on's so far. Brock and Ballard have so much potential.

Bryant makes everything look so easy
I can't wait until she starts to truly get rewarded for that vault. Feel especially her of all the vaults hasn't been rewarded for superior amplitude in addition to her from yet.
I can't wait until next year, Kiya, Haleigh and Aleah

Watched all three SEC meets tonight. Bama looked a mess, but I can see the potential there. Arkansas finally received more accurate scores away from home, but yet I just read from the main mod on the fb group that she thinks both Arkansas and Alabama are better than LSU.
Florida did have some routines that had some scores going higher than they should, but they looked incredibly sharp. LSU will hopefully get everyone healthy and Elena on bars to go toe to toe with them. LSU has some nice lines and handstands on bars, but those dismounts kill the scoring potential. I hope they can work that out and find consistency there. I’m not sure we have one routine that can match their 2-5, from what I watched tonight.
I don’t think any team will match Florida on beam. LSU’s beam problems are their leap series, which we have beat with a dead horse, but we all know it has held the scoring potential down for that rotation. As a fan, I would rather watch the bare minimum if it’s hit and clean, over leaps not hitting 180.

I agree re-Florida. TBH after watching them these last four weeks I think it’s their season to lose...they have the talent, drive, and they seem very healthy. If LSU were at full strength i might feel differently.

She needs to increase her Aricept

LSU is clearly better than Bama and Arkansas. Yes, Arkansas has the edge on beam and floor right now, but LSU is better on vault and bars. And did the mod not see the Bama meet yesterday? They literally folded on vault and beam. They clearly missed Graber.
Additionally, LSU hasn’t shown its full potential yet. Kiya has yet to find her rhythm on beam. I think these things need to happen in order for LSU to contend with Florida in two weeks:
1) Get Kiya and Dunne healthy!
2) Insert Ryan in the vault lineup
3) Insert Arenas in the bars lineup and work on sticking landings
4) Insert Dunne in the beam lineup and get Kiya some confidence here
5) Insert Dunne in the floor lineup
I know I’m asking a lot but I feel Dunne will score well based on her form and elegance on floor. Of course the biggest factor is Kiya’s health right now.
