I agree with you....jealousy rears its ugly head in various forms especially so with this group . We are improving each week which I hope continues for the remainder of the season.

Those admins don’t care; the main one has a long history of trashing LSU on various message boards.

You are right. After looking at each of their FB pages as well as other social media sources, they are just fine with trashing LSU.

They don’t see it though. They constantly tear LSU apart and think nothing is wrong with it. I’m so close to leaving the page but someone has to be there to put them in their places and I’m ok with doing that! Geaux Tigers!

Geeeeeez, people are going crazy dissing LSU in bb situation. Like if that score was Kennedi's fault or like it could invalidate the whole meet scoring. And also people are mad because we are #4 in RQS lol

It's insane how people are fixated on LSU. This intense bashing is a sign of some type of mental hangup for these sad people.

And counted no score less than 9.80 (Rau on vault)!

I’ve read on here numerous times that she was rushed into the lineup and she should actually still be in high school. I’m not disagreeing with that but at what point does DD say it is time to move on for now. She has been consistently bad on the vault since the first time doing it in a competition here.

I’m so gutted for Lynnzee Brown. It’s confirmed that she has a torn Achilles. Amanda Cashman of Georgia also tore her Achilles. So sad. Gymnastics is a tough sport.

We kinda have no options

We had pretty much zero depth on vault going into the year and knew we had to be healthy on this event to do well. Ryan is injured, Ferrer is not available, Alyona is coming off an injury. Only Edwards has a serviceable vault right now out of all the juniors.

Ideal lineup has Ryan in that last spot but she may not be available the rest of the season. Her vault scored top 4 at JO nationals. Not being able to use her hurts the lineup. I pray Alyona can put out a vault to end the year.

If Tatum ends up getting her school stuff worked out and comes up early, that will be a dramatic help to our lineup next year

Yeah all the Achilles tears are making me nervous for Kiya...every week they talk about testing her but they still haven’t (aside from going down to a full on vault)

I know Kiya needs to rest. She has kept LSU alive with her scores over the past seven weeks. We do need another strong score on the road for the RQS. We may see her on a couple of events if needed.

I'm concerned about Kiya too, especially since she has a history of Achilles pain. We really cannot afford to lose her in post-season. It's really unfortunate that we lost Edwards for a few weeks and then Edney on some events for a few others (while she hasn't been impressive on the rest either), otherwise they could have stepped in while Kiya had a rest at least on floor.

I don't really have an issue with Rau. As has been said, what choice is there really? We are still using even Durante on vault. Props to her for being able to offer a vault to help the team out, but it wouldn't be an option we want to use in post-season, while Rau's vault might potentially be. Losing Ryan and Ferrer really hurt. LSU's top 5 is a very strong lineup (Harrold, Edwards, Rivers, Edney, Johnson but there is a sharp drop off after that.

Anyone know how Bailey is going? I saw on instagram she seems to be working at a cafe in Baton Rouge now, and I'm unsure if she's travelling with the team to meets. Haven't seen any other gymnasts with part time jobs. Is she training? Is she likely to come back next year? She was really predicted to do big things for LSU, would be a shame if this was the end of her career.

Do we think we will see any changes to the lineups tonight? Maybe resting a couple of girls on events. Any thoughts?

I don't feel like they will try to really rest Kiya until Texas Women's meet in 3 weeks. Until we get some girls back healthy, there is really no one to step in her spot.

They could keep her as anchor on floor and not use her if the 5 in front hit. But even then she has warmed up floor and is ready to go. It’s not saving her from very much wear and tear on the achilles at that point.

Scoring in Florida was just CRACKIER than ever. Gowey's got a 9.9 on floor with big bounces in all of her passes......... Same goes for SJS.

I just started watching Arkansas/Auburn. Although I know little about deductions, one of the Auburn girls was arched way back in her first bars handstand and got a 9.875. Seems like Durante does near flawless routines and gets a 9.80 - 9.850. Also saw I believe a 9.90 vault for Arkansas with big step forward. The camera work is terrible. I like a consistent angle band they’re all over the place.

It’s just more proof that the crack scoring is happening everywhere. Not just when LSU is on the floor. But don’t tell some people that.
