Is what Florida is doing sustainable? It seems like they grab so many top name recruits who end up barely making an impact. Huge waste of talent, but how are so many girls comfortable with committing to a school where the roster is stacked, facilities aren't as great as LSU, elite girls are known to struggle, and there's a trend of girls gaining a tonne of weight? There's no way all of this is legit.

I’m sure her pitch is something like come to Florida where you can eat what you want, and don’t have to condition. Just come have a good ole time getting by on your elite talent alone.

also interesting to note that not a single current national team member is committed to georgia or bama. crazy to think how much the sec has changed in the past couple of years

Georgia has a Canadian national team member committed

Alabama just grabbed Olsen who is big time. They have a lot of top level 10 kids committed and on roster. They have talent but don't seem to perform to it. It Danna doesn't get the team to nationals this year, she is out IMO. People down there are not pleased with her.

National team camp was a success, Aleah and Lilly got recognized for awards for demonstrating mastery of upgrades skill at camp

Looking forward to seeing them put the upgrades onto the floor this summer.

As for the recruiting front, things will be a bit different now with the new rules. I still think LSU should look at the international elites more.

Other small news is Campbell will be back working bars this year for next season. She had a small clean up this morning. Desiderio had to get her shoulder cleaned up as well. Expect 3-4 others kids to be getting small procedures done before the end of the summer. Nothing major.

Will Gnat be a volunteer coach again next year? Or is she moving somewhere else for a paid position?

She just finished grad school, I thought this was suppose to be her last year here. She can't be a volunteer assistant as that position is occupied already.

Also everyone keep your eyes on Alyona.....

Adding Alyona would be huge. Great name to add to the program and I think with the easier routines on the NCAA level she would shine.

Agreed completely

I also think a big issue she has "problems" with her elite routines is her coaches skills selection is awful. Not a fan of it.

I love Maggie Nichols but in no way did that girl deserve the Honda award this year. Last year, sure, but this year it should have gone to Kyla or Sarah this year.

Also my very post on Tigerdroppings!

Welcome :)

And agreed. I like Nichols as well but that was ridiculous. She barely competed all year then gets over scored on multiple routines at nationals and somehow wins it over Ross or Finnegan. I would not complain if Ross won, she is very very deserving. Nichols after this season? Nope

I think she gets over scored on her feet. All the people complain about Bailey but Maggie's feet look almost as bad as hers sometimes. But we all know certain names get bigger scores no matter what. Would be great to see them judge routines this year and not name or leo color but that will never happen.

Maggie’s gigantic floppy feet and staggered landings get on my last nerve.

Its absolutely ridiculous that the staggered landing never gets deducted. You aren't even allowed to do this. Your feet need to come together immediately after you land and they wait like 5 minutes then do it...

Wow those pics are really shocking! To me, at least. I'm not that familiar with Maggie, other than that she's one of the top names in the country. I don't EVER remember Sarah landing anything in that position. I mean, that's just not a pretty stance, I don't care if her feet ever came together. Now I'm really pissed Sarah (or Kyla) didn't win lol!
