Ferrer, Dean, Durante and Kelley are the girls to watch for on beam next year.
Ferrer is starting her floor routine. Gnat is at her gym for a little bit and assisting her with the choreography.

From TB357...hopefully he will be back soon!
Olivia Dunne is doing well this week in practice. Her ankle/foot is much better.
Olivia plans to show upgrades on bars, beam and floor. She is currently training a double on vault, but will probably compete a full at Nationals
Aleah will likely show upgrades on floor and beam, if it goes well in practice this week. They want clean consistent execution

From TB357....Junior Podium training:
JaFree Scott IMO looks the best of all the GAGE girls, just the total package in every way
Looks like they are going to be conservative and not roll out the upgrades for Finnegan and Jeffrey, though they were training and working on them all this last week.
Aleah continues to be extremely clean on beam and floor. Bars still needs work but handstands are a little better, and the dismount remains a bit of a question at times. Her DTY continues to be straight down the middle, improving but just needs to control the landing is key.
Jeffrey will only compete a full on vault. Her beam is nice but her leaps will get hammered unfortunately.
Leane Wong needs to fix her helicopter legs on the beam dismount but great fluidity and execution on the entire routine. Noticed she sometimes arches her back a bit on bars, the pirouettes are the main concern, some of them were border line .500 deductions. As they say the "GAGE pirouette"
A lot of scary vaults in podium training all around in general, not exactly sure why but its something to keep an eye on

From TB357
Some big news to keep an eye on, Top Level 2019 level 10 gymnast Raegan Walker has decommitted from Kentucky
Raegan trains at SCEGA, she placed 3rd in the all around at the Nastia Liukin cup and is one of the premier prospects of the 2019 class.

That is a huge loss fo Kentucky which has been an up and coming program. Their staff has done n impresiive job of building a strong team.
Is LSU intrested in her?

Do we know the reason why Raegan decommitted?

No official reasons but she started to hear from bigger schools within the last year. She committed last summer to Kentucky
She is suppose to be going on unofficials to Stanford and UCLA supposedly.
As far as I am aware, LSU has money available for her in this coming class.

Also on IG, Lizzy Leduc announced her retirement

Everyone needs to relax, she isn’t making a decision until the spring.
She technically is a senior!

Surprised it didn’t happen sooner, she stopped training early earlier this year, thought it was for an injury at first but the fact that she canceled all her visits this summer to NCAA schools confirms it
Not sure why she just up and quit with two years of eligibility. Seems like she never knew what she wanted to do, what a weird gymnastics career towards the end for Leduc....

GULP... pretty sure McKenna Kelly said on Instagram she's ready for her Senior Season.
She said the injury took away her COMPETITIVE JUNOR SEASON. She will compete this season under that designation albeit a senior academically. No different from any othr redshirt year in any sport. Athletes have five years to compete in four seasons. Of course those who play a minimum of games can still declae a red shirt seasons and essentially play in five seasons.

Wow. She was really an awesome gymnast. Have we found any information on Gracen Standley? Why she is not listed on the roster?

Welcome back Tigerbait
Strange end to Leduc's career indeed. I suppose it will never come out why she was released from the Illinois' team to begin with.
In other news, another MG Elite gymnast commits to UF. Water is wet.
Oh, and obsessed with LSU's schedule this year. Whoever had a hand in this schedule, I tip my hat to you.

I was chatting with this w/ Bunniegene the other day before it happened. Not surprising, I bet Zoe Gravier will probably end up at Florida too.
Laurie Hernandez was committed to Florida before going pro to. All they do is send gymnasts to Florida.

I like that Cal is coming in, should be a great meet

The bars were much closer back then, half those skills are now banned too if I’m not mistaken. The dismount definitely is not allowed lol
Yea those routines were so unique, crazy how much gymnastics has changed over the years, I can only imagine 20 years from now!

That was back in '72. I sure haven't seen near that kind of difficulty at the college level. To me, the routines are getting kind of bland and are regressing. I wish the degree of difficulty was more prominent at the college level.
