Take it for what is worth, but I personally talk to one of our recruits daddy today..I won't say which one but he told me his son is coming too lsu..then he went on too name the other local players we are after..if he is telling the truth it will be nana time...sorry alabama, fla, texas a&m,ucla...

A couple of months ago I played in a golf tourney with a guy who had a similar conversation with a parent of one of our prime 2014 recruits. The guy does business with said parent's employer and thus gets a chance to talk to him about it. Being that far from NSD I kept it to myself but it made me feel a lot better anyway. Was pretty much what you said. However, you never know what goes through a 17-18 year old head come NSD...

I also coupled this with something a poster on here pointed out after the aTm game that LSU was making very few moves on other recruits and was not being very public about our star targets which would seem to mean that the LSU staff is pretty confident in what they have coming or they are in dream land - take your pick!

A lot of insecurity in this thread. Did Santa bring the tin hats?

yep. we know LSU hasn't been out worked; maybe us fans assumed too much, but Staff hasn't I don't think. Being around that group in St. Pete will be key for several. Don't forget about the days leading up to it... that's where the real recruit-2-recruit magic happens. Getting gear, rooming, etc.

I just don't think he'll leave the state. He's a kid that enjoys being around home. He hardly ever leaves to even visit.

I agree. I'd put a large sum of money on Devante even though there hasn't been the lock feeling lately.

You're right. What's up with that? Is he even going to use his remaining OVs?

well, if he wasn't from a metropolitan area he'd find College Station and it's people not THAT different from N or W La.

But I think you're right. However, Sumlin seems just as good as CLM with the "extended family" thing. So where we're hoping that makes someone like Carter leave home, TAMU is the only school that worries me for the same reason.

But I think we're seeing the pull of people, not atmosphere, here; which means LSU would very likely win his services.

For anyone who has a good pulse of the Karr guys:
Does getting Speedy mean we're getting G. Willis? (or vice versa). Some of us have been making that assumption... is it a good assumption?

What's up with the "too" not once but twice.

This is mostly a friendly forum board, not a grammar class/testing agency. Give the guy a break. He came here with solid info and was obviously excited about the news; which we all should be. Be thoughtful of others here please.

Well, even if it is one of the first posts for this individual, it is still great to hear the news.

Many Tiger fans have been patiently waiting for all the Booms and multiple commitments of 5 and 4-star players that are now just a few days away, apparently.

Let's just hope this post is validated after the first weekend of January.

My recruiting wish list:
Tony Brown 5*
Leonard Fournette 5*
Adoree Jackson 5*
Speedy Noil 5*
Lorenzo Carter 5*
Malachi Dupre 5*
Gerald Willis 5*
Jamal Adams 5*

It really blows my mind how many 5* we can potentially get this year! Even if only 3/4 of these players sign its still a ridiculous class!

How Ed Paris and Trey Quinn don't have a 5th Star it makes me scratch my head

Don't worry anyone on that list that commits to LSU will be downgraded to a 4 star
