I'm not sure how you could make that argument at all.

we get kids from Georgia that UGA picks over for the most part. Just a fact. We've never grabbed a kid from that state that either Meyer or Richt wanted badly

I cant believe Im doing this I have much better things to do but I cant help myself

Georgia:
Brandon Worle
Jc copeland
Tbob-was a big time recruit
Perry riley
Sheppard
Kevin Minter

Fla:
Hathcher
Greg Shaw
Ryan Baker
Kadron Boone

All of those guys were known as big talents except for (ironically) Sheppard

Good gosh you suck. Go back to the rant

We didn't want Benton and Robinson more than likely didn't want to have to compete with Collins. Nothing any coach could have said to change that.

I think we have more TX players than Oregon.

Alabama doesn't produce more talent than Louisiana you dolt

Last 3 Rivals 100s:

Alabama - 12 (Saban got 10, Auburn got 1 and the other has not committed yet this year)

Louisiana - 13 (LSU got 9, Auburn got 2, Tenn got 1 and the other has not committed yet this year)

About even. My point remains that it would be nice if we could go into Alabama and snag one or two solid recruits every few years...like Auburn and Bama have done in Louisiana. That's all

Some of these people are so out of touch with reality. Guess they'll just never get over Saban

Alabama has 2 good instate schools recruiting those players. Louisiana only has 1 good instate school. There is a huge difference

Why just Alabama though?

If you look at Bama and AU, the best players on their teams are not even from the state of Alabama. And they are not from La. either.

If we snag a good Alabama recruit, all they have to do is go elsewhere for players.

Oregon:

LaMichael James - Heisman runner-up-to-be. All American and top RB in country.. from TX

Darron Thomas - Taken from LSU and runs that offense at QB.. from TX

Outrecruited us for Lache, and they have others

LSU:

Toliver - good player but never lived up to potential

Shep - good player but hasnt lived up to hype quite yet

Agheyere has been a disappointment, Brockers has good potential and we'll hopefully see a positive impact in the future. Loston needs to live up to potential still. We'll see on the young OLs...

But I would say the Ducks are doing much better with their TX kids right now

High scoring offenses like that always make kids look way better than they are. Thomas would have never stepped on the field at QB here

Tbob-was a big time recruit - Dad moved to Louisiana and he's a La. boy
Perry riley - UGA really didn't go after
Sheppard - UGA didn't want
Kevin Minter - UGA didn't really go after

And you left out some other guys like Drayton Calhoun, etc. that are likely to transfer soon. Not saying none of the guys you mentioned above suck, just pointing out they were scraps from UGA and Florida. Not my opinion, it's fact.

quote:

Fla:
Hathcher - no FL school wanted
Greg Shaw - was between us and WV
Ryan Baker - good player that FSU let slip until too late
Kadron Boone - nobody wanted in FL

again, I hope these Fl kids turn out well. But to say they were highly coveted by their in-state schools would be flat-out lying

Of course

That's why we get a much higher % of LA kids than Alabama and Auburn individually get from Alabama.

Also makes it much more likely to leave the state.

You obviously have no idea what's going on

you say Shep and Loston and Toliver haven't lived up to their hype yet but you pimp Lache as a positive for Oregon?

I love how you include these guys when they weren't offered by the big Texas schools, but the good players we get from other states aren't impressive because they weren't offered by their homestate schools.

It's clear that you're pushing an agenda with each post, so I'm going to quit resonding to such an imbecile.

Taken from LSU? Now I know you really know nothing. Thomas wanted to play QB, LSU wanted him as an athlete, and thus he went to Oregon. Thomas would never survive as a QB in the SEC and LSU knew that
