• It wasn’t a big difference for me in terms of the total package. All the schools offered about $300,000 to $400,000 per year with the ability to earn more.

I wonder if these figures include scholarship money.

The NIL deal is like an NFL rookie contract. I had an agent handle it all for me. As soon as NIL came out, my dad was like, “You need an agent.” When schools call, they have the position coach, head coach and the money man from the collective call you. That last guy is the one who talks about NIL with the agent.

I thought when you signed with an agent you lost eligibility. Is that the next thing to be challenged in court? Could guys that go to the draft and arent drafted or drafted low coming back to school become a real thing? I think thatd be awesome.

Not anymore. The long bullshite fallacy of amatuerism is finally dead. These kids are not amatuers and haven't been for a couple of decades.
No agents would lead to even more grifting from the schools/collectives. You can bet they have lawyers representing their interests and if you've ever been through contracts, the language used can be confusing even to them at times. No sense paying kids just to continue taking advantage of them.

That went away when the state NIL laws rolled out. I don’t know how you can realistically allow NIL without allowing agents - regardless of how you feel about agents in general, they’re much better-equipped to navigate these contracts than the players.

I doubt it. Especially for guys who are drafted low. Even if the NCAA decided to allow it, the NFL doesn’t want to deal with uncertainty in the draft process like MLB.

I just think itd be kind of funny. Would Eli have gone back to school instead pulling his shite show with San Diego?

One of the biggest problems.

Rude and socially inappropriate when you go up to 2 people standing there, and one appears to be his mom, introduce yourself to the son, and just ignore the other.
