and I have ZERO faith in miles and crowton to change anything.

offense not working? let's keep doing the same thing over and over again.

I promise you a couple short side options and 5-6 3 yd come back routes on 3rd and 15 in the bowl game.

I agree with this. Any athlete that bases his committment on how another Freshman was used isn't very intelligent.

I disagree. He was right.

I am a die hard purple and gold LSU Tiger. But if my son was a 5 star recruit right now. I wouldnt want him going to LSU.

Sorry but its the truth. I want him somewhere where he can be coached up and get to the NFL.

Thats not the case right now at LSU.

He would be coached down...

The real truth.

UT is a better university with a great football team and are playing in the NC.

well that's not true at all

if you are good enough at LSU, you'll have a good shot at the NFL

I love how everyone is citing the playing time of Reuben Randle, who was the #3 receiver behind Lafell (#1 pick) and Tolliver (#1 5 star receiver from 3 years ago).

Texas just doesn't have the same depth we have, plain and simple.

the crowton experiment is going to eventually kill the program if he is kept on staff.

Amen,

But lets think like les for a minute , I know you may have to use sentence that have no meaning and thoughts that go no were , but you'll be OK :)

Keeping Crowton on the staff just buys Les misérables an extra year of salary =ing an escape goat(crowton) when he make the final and last change of his tenure here at LSU.

I would bet it wasn't one thing in particular, but the weight of several factors that influenced Davis to change to UT (closer to home, and recent UT offer, LSU's offense was uninspiring this year, he wasn't keen on use of younger players, coaches leaving (and maybe should be but aren't leaving, UT coaches talking LSU down, etc., etc.). Regardless, it is done.

But the beginning words from the original post that were being cited as something new and insightful:

quote:

The more likely reason is that Davis did not like

flat out says that they are making this up/guessing. Unless Davis says it, it is all speculation.

Has Bert called anyone a flute player in this thread yet?

IF WE DIDN'T EXPECT THIS TO HAPPEN, THEN WE ARE BEING NAIVE!

ANY REASONABLE PERSON WOULD CONCLUDE THE SAME THING...is his answer not logical? It is a situation that is very easy for another team to recruit against us in these areas?

WHAT WERE WE ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT ALL YEAR LONG?

RANDLE TOUCHES!
SHEP UTILIZATION!
PLAY CALLING!

WHO OF US DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME EXACT CONCERNS? AND NONE OF US ARE SIGNING TO LSU FOR 4 YEARS.

If that is his true answer, than I support it...It's honest and true!

As a fan, I would want a chance to turn him...but I understand his reasoning...but he does need to look at UT depth at WR..

Chances are, LSU will be better than UT the next 2 years...due to QB...I am assuming JJ comes on strong...they are replacing a 4 year starter

Well, our offense did under perform this year. I'm not worried unless it under performs again next year. JJ did not seem comfortable as our QB all season long. Next year he has no excuses. JJ needs to feel comfortable in his own skin.
