Thanks Vol. I like that list, but I bet there's a MS DL on there. It will be fun to see how these visits shake out

6. Parker or Best Available

I like that finish. Only thing is I would like to hold off on signing Hampton until he officially passes on MLB. If he decides to go, keep a scholly for next year and see what is out there in the portal.... Is there not one decent OT in the portal that we could get?

No one better than what we got IMO

Very well could be, like I said earlier, just want to see how the visits shape up before I take a guess at them.

I work in private Baseball and have coached against and scouted hampton, he will not make it to campus.. he is projected 2nd-4th round... just fyi...
I spoke with a baseball agent who pegs him in the 10th-ish round

Hampton is such a gamble with so many good players still left on the board, but LSU seems determined to sign him.

Still too fluid to predict with great certainty IMO.

I don't think either LSU or Bama will sign both Ish and Young however. That much I do feel certain about.

We aren’t turning down any players better than Hampton, if that’s your concern.

My concern is pissing away a scholarship. One that cannot be used even on a transfer later.

Would be a total waste if he signs and chooses baseball.

I wouldn't mind an in the bag Christian Williams over Hampton myself. Maybe not quite the player but no risk of losing him. LSU obviously feels differently.

Pickering doesn't seem very realistic.

But at least we are still getting him on campus for a visit, right?

Is Richmond from Tennessee one of the transfers we're entertaining? I remember him being a bigtime recruit, but honestly don't know how he panned out at UT.

Take it for what it's worth... 2 DL from MS mentioned, Pickens, Ward, and Williams as well.

I’m sure the staff and all of us would like to see one (or more also). But likely we are 2nd/3rd choice below Bama and the Land Mass schools.

Imagine Ish being a fringe starter type, Rodney living up to his non-200 JUCO ranking, and Hampton signing with an MLB team...

That last OV weekend is sure to create much drama.

LSU: Sopsher, Young, C.Williams, D.Lee

Bama: Pickering, Q. Fuller

Ish Sopsher
Rodney Sopsher
Lee
Parker
Hampton
Pickering/Young/Moore (I will say Young)

Christian Williams and George Pickens are still slight possibilities too, but this is how I think it ends up.

I would love to land one of the Mississippi DL, lets just say that we end up with 1 spot left over at the end, is that “big name” transfer you mentioned recently still in the works?

If they truly were the case, I think we'd take Williams over Parker. Especially since we have 2 OTs on board for 2020 already and still recruiting them.

Still a possibility, but would not affect 25 man numbers if it works out how we want.

Is Andrew Raym still saying all the right things to the staff?
