He'll be old enough to go pro after the season. Might just skip college.

While we're on the subject, what became of the D lineman ( I think from Breaux Br.) that everyone said was so incredible but had grades/effort issues? Name escapes me.

Been the best WR in the state for a couple of years now. Only thing that worries me is that Ive seen some places say that he might not qualify for this year and if thats the case, he might just stay at JUCO and then turn pro.

He needs 1 more year in JUCO. Then he will come to LSU for his junior season in 2014, and trust me when I say that may be his only season at LSU. He will take catches away from Leslie, Landry and Beckham Jr. Nobody these days goes from JUCO to NFL. You wont get drafted or if you do you're hoping for 7th round at best.

I was laughing as his hair blew with the wind in that video as well

I hope he can eventually make it here. He is a freak. This would be a huge get if he can get it together. Keep working hard on those grades, D'haquille!

Best high school player I have seen play in recent years. That includes Leonard Fournette. He dominated the Honey Badger and Micah Eugene when he was at ESJ. Still hearing that he hasn't turned the corner academically though.

He will be old enough to go pro after this season. And while I agree that not many people that stay in JUCO get drafted, what's the difference between JUCO and a D2 type school like Northwestern or Southeastern? Or a crappy D1 school? And if your good enough, you will earn a paycheck regardless of being drafted. And the kid doesn't seem like school is on his list of priorities. If he doesn't qualify this year, I really can see this kid just going pro and taking his chances. Why would you transfer to a new system and learn it just to play for 1 season, then try and go pro? i get your playing at a big time school and get national recognition, but half the year would be learning the system. And I agree. He would be the best WR on our team right now. And who said anything about him getting drafted? If he can't qualify to go to LSU, going pro and earning his way would be a better choice then just doing nothing.

I want him at LSU. End of discussion.

But seriously, what could have been.

The upside of going to a D1 program, even for 1 year, versus trying to go pro out of JUCO is enormous. The highest I can imagine a JUCO receiver being drafted is 6th-7th round, more realistically you'd have to make it as an UDFA. Going to college for just 1 year can make the same prospect a 1st round pick, like Cordarelle Patterson. I'm sure there are others who've made it straight JUCO but Joe Horn is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

Anyway he clearly wants to be a Tiger so I am pulling for him.

Me too I totally agree with all that. But if he doesnt qualify, he might just have to go pro. If your good enough it doesnt matter where you play. It helps you get recognition if your at a major program, but if your good enough it doesnt matter where you play. NFL people dont care where you go to college. If your good enough they will take a chance on you in the NFL. Colston played at Hofstra, and they don't even have a football team anymore. And Williams is def good enough to do it. There are a lot of small school guys all over the NFL. More than you think. Trust me I want this kid here. Been keeping up with him since ESJ days.

If he gets his grades together, no doubt he will be at LSU in 2014. Who cares if it is just for 1 year? It's better than not seeing this kid in P&G at all. i heard from people in that area that he's the best player to come through there as long as anyone can remember...including Ryan Perrilloux. This is a once every generation type player

I could be way off base here but after watching a couple highlight reels, he is definitely a playmaker and reminds me of Marqise Lee of USC with the ball in his hands.
