I agree but it doesn’t make a lot of sense. They have seven TE on the roster already with three committed this cycle. You don’t have to be a mathematician to figure your odds of playing time somewhere else is probably better than it is at Bama, that is if he truly wants playing time or just be able to wear Bama colors and hopefully get a ring that other players won. He is the lowest ranked recruit they have by a long shot. Their kicker that signed is ranked 200 points higher than he is. I wish him well but I think he will be back in the portal in a year or two. I don’t know if you have noticed but the amount of people in the portal is staggering and very few actually make an upgrade when they transfer out. They usually end up at a smaller college because the glory of being on a team and not playing is old and not they now want to go somewhere that they can get on the field
