As much as I want him at LSU, I'm hearing Clemson from relative in Jennings. Take it FWIW.
He loved the Clemson trip. Hearing his family wants him to stay closer to home however.

I literally can't remember Clemson running the ball once with a runningback in the national championship game. I'm sure they did but I can't remember. If you're a runningback, LSU will get you to the league almost guaranteed if you're a starter. Clemson, not so much.

There's no way you can say that with certainty. Especially given that they just won the national championship and he's committing before his official here.

In 2015/2016, Clemson rushed 38 times for 145 yards against BAMA's steel curtain defense. Gallman rushed 14 times for 45 yards.
LSU rushed 26 times for 54 yards. LF rushed 19 times - 5 more carries than Gallman - for 31 yards - 14 fewer yards.
In 2016/2017 games, Clemson rushed 42 times for 91 yards against BAMA's steel curtain defense. Gallman 18 times for 46 yards.
LSU rushed 27 times for 33 yards. LF rushed 17 times for 35 yards. LF and Guice collectively had 1 more rush than Gallman did in the Championship game, yet, combined, they rushed for 43 yards - 3 yards less than the Clemson running back.
