Raymond Coach vs Recruiter

Pretty hard to recruit at a top level when your head coach is an albatross around your neck.

All Saban had to do was say "look, chances are Ed wont be the head coach there much longer. I will be at Bama until I decide to retire. You wanna play for a maybe or a sure thing?"

I don't think the db's have missed a beat since Cooper left. Raymonds db's (generally) are higher ranked, but perform very well on the field.

Bama doesn't even have a DC or Secondary coach right now. Saban and winning championships is the reason he went to Bama.
