Johnson will end up at LSU
don't think so. He doesn't like to play second fiddle.
He is going off to college.
Hopefully someone sane will have a chance to talk with him about why the best teams all have great guys in multiple classes.
No one can play every down, every game at the level of intensity and speed necessary to compete vs BCS game level competition, the best of the best.

Why wont that happen, it could very well happen, in fact I like the chances.

We need to make up a little ground with Robinson, he has bought into the BS that AU will start him next year at LT.
So when Reed gets very little playing time this year, will he call bullshite?

I think Reed went into a bad situation with the number of receivers ahead of him. Ziemba graduates this year and they have no depth behind him currently. Robinson could step in from day 1 and start there

If he does indeed go to Auburn then I hope he starts from day 1. He will not be ready and they will suffer.

Ziemba went down already in the MSU game and his back up did pretty well FWIW.

Greg Robinson is very close to Reed as well from what I understand. He was also close to Reed's mother before she passed away. He thinks he belongs with Reed. Plus the fact of them selling him on going to Auburn and playing LT (key) and starting right away. As opposed to going to LSU and playing RT and being behind Collins in recognition.
In turn we are telling Robinson to come here be a part of this great wonderful class that is filled with many louisianians and most importantly a lot of your friends. Be a part if the greatest Offensive Line Class in the history of recruiting. And Battle Collins for that LT spot.
I also think getting a QB like Mettenberger would have dramastic effect on Robinson. Really a stud QB is all this class is missing.

I'm pretty sure he is closer to Granier than he is Reed.

We'll land MJ, Beckham and Robinson but lose Rasco.
Beckham would be gone if Miami recruited him harder.

FWIW Rasco is really liking the LSU DLine's play thus far.

Do you think Robinson is obsessed about having to play left tackle? If he is truly a team player, he would be glad to contribute at RT. The QB, RB and WR's would love to have outstanding blockers at both tackle positions.

Reed will be splitting first team reps as soon as he's healthy.
I'm sure most of you know this, but he's been banged up, thus his lack of playing time.
He is not going to be redshirted and is expected to receive significant playing time as the season goes on, assuming his health improves and maintains.

Why does everyone just automatically give Collins the RT position. GR if he isn't afraid can come in and move Collins to RT. Look at what Blue did to Ford. rivals said Ford was better now Blue is balling out of control as a true freshman. I think they are both great talents but rivals and Barton simians aren't setting the 2012 depth chart until something changes that's on Les Miles.

He has no damage, just a deep knee bruise, right? Seriously, I would redshirt him. He's only had a couple plays, and I think he probably need to mature and adjust to the physicality of the SEC.

I think alot of you are overreacting to the Mickey Johnson situation. I personally think that he's naming a leader every week on purpose. I want to say I read or heard somewhere that he keeps up with these recruiting sites. In turn, probably keeps up with these message boards.
By naming a leader every week, no one has any idea where he's leaning. Pretty decent plan if you want to keep your decision close to the vest.
