Only problem I see is LSU doesn't have a traditional back in this class.

I know nothing about their prior classes but having 2 180 lbs APBs isn't great on a 3rd and 2.

But the 2 they have look dynamic on tape

Sheppard had 1900 yds from scrimmage & 31 TDs in 8 games this season. He was the best RB in the state & it wasn’t really close lol

Maybe you should tell college coaches and scouts nationwide because they didn’t get the memo.

Are you that stupid to think players don’t out play their recruiting rankings regularly, especially at RB?

Like is this really your line of thinking?

Hey, Lester has an opinion like we all have. Let's just see it all play-out, and I sincerely hope that Louisiana has a plethora of great RBs this year.

Luckily, there are other RBs on the roster and we won’t have to rely on true freshman’s for 3rd downs.

No that would be you, as you’ve proven time and time again on this board. To say that Sheppard was the best RB in the state and it wasn’t particularly close is completely and totally asinine. Like I said though, not surprising coming from you.

Harlem Berry does not run like these guys do. His first instinct is to run outside and then teases 1A athletes with his speed. His playing style is more like NFL Reggie Bush. They love to try and get outside the tackles and to the sideline. It's not a knock, it's just that that version of player will never be Jamyr Gibbs or Chris Johnson.

So you rank Berry as the 4th best HS RB in LA because his running style is more like Reggie Bush than Devon Achane or Jamyr Gibbs?

Was supposed to be an early enrollee, was not an early enrollee and will see his early season touches go to a portal back

Did i miss where we signed a back out of the portal or talk that we will try to get one in the spring portal window.

I mean,we just moved a guy from rb to qb because we have depth at rb and need depth at qb for the spring. If we were thin on backs they would have kept jj at rb or gotten a rb out of the portal

So your top 5 is gonna really need some love if anyone ever gives you credibility ever...you've got one going to Duke, one to ULM and one unsigned (as far as I can tell)
Hard to believe coaches missed so badly

Oh, preseason, didn't even notice. I stay away from rbs and ol, those groups seem to bust like it's in style ?? rbs can be divas like wrs but I often find academics to be a bigger issue with rbs
