Because the 116th ranked total offense is always better than being at the top. But "business is business". Hey, Rak - by the way - those men showing up at your door tomorrow morning in black suits won't be the police...

Don’t underestimate the little a-hole two state’s East’s negative recruiting LSU and pumping his boy Locksley as an alternative if not choosing his school.

I'm not even mad. Good luck with that.

All the big programs pay. Some are just better at it than others.

I dont think many of them care about that, at least at this point. They are just looking for whomever gives them attention and/or benefits until they serve their 3 yr sentence before going to the league. Part of me doesnt blame them

ESPN ocho has Cotton, so there is that

Can we please get Maryland on the schedule

I’m not either. It’s aggravating when kids are that immature and deceitful, but he got paid well and he’s close to home. Same for burton
If we were gonna lose a couple at least it’s to schools who are non factors for us.
We are sitting in great shape and have some spots left top off the class.

He does seem quite full of himself. Most great WRs are.. but man.. maybe i'm just getting old.

an Ohio state instagram account replied to him flipping and said "wow, we have to play him for 4 years" and he replied "3 years
That tells you he was sold on playing early. His plan is to get to the NFL as soon as hes eligible. That was probably a negative recruiting tactic by Maryland. He could say for a year and still had a chance to play two and enter early if hes as good as he thinks he is.

Burton and Jarrett showed their true colors today. The character of these two moving forward is questionable at best. In following past recruits with similar character, their college careers almost always are sub par. I don't think we'll be sorry in the end.
Exactly! So many here getting butt hurt over these losers bailing on LSU. So be it, if that's their character then they didn't belong on this team anyway.
Not every highly rated recruit lives up to expectations. There are plenty of 3 stars that end up being ballers once they get coached up in college. LSU will be fine.

Business is business?
You just went to a dogshit program where you will be surrounded by 2 and 3 star talent and have to work 5 times as hard to get recognized. Instead of being on national TV every week, you’ll be on some third tier channel nobody watches.
Sounds like a poor business decision to me.

His comment was about making money at Maryland, not the future earnings

Maryland is selling the possibility of what Under Armour can offer when the “image and likeness” stuff starts.
I thought image and likeness is still at least 2-3 years away from being a reality.

I remember how upset everyone was when we lost out on Speedy Noil. He looked to be the next LSU Superstar WR. He really didnt do much at A&M. At least nothing noteworthy.

He lied last night about not being allowed to sign today. Low on character. Be gone peasant. ??

Would like to respond
Hopefully you won’t be watching all the LSU WRs in the NFL One day regretting a “business decision”.

Yeah I’m good with not getting this guy. Congrats on a small bump at 18 for 4th round money when it counts
Posted on 12/18/19 at 5:57 pm to Cs
eh, maybe he'll make some off of the use of his image there.
Then again, maybe at LSU his chances were better.
He'll have to use his imagination.
Still wish we'd have gotten him though. I don't mind some attitude.

Maybe good we didn’t get this guy. On paper and tape, he looks great. But who wants a teammate who promised to join you for 9 months and switches at the last minute? Then goes out on Twitter from what I read and trashes you. Coach O visited him last week. Why not decommit then? There’s so much more to this story we’ll probably never know. Just thankful for the young men who signed with the Tigers.
