Take it for what its worth I asked a 5* recruit just now and he said Rettig is legit (I'm not one of those twitter creeps I'm a 2013 guy myself)

Sounds like he has CHEST

I wish you people would stop saying this.
We get it. It's a Milesism. It's ridiculous.

you think he's doing this for leverage with Leach? Looks like his coach loves the air raid system and named dropped Leach. Have I missed something?? There is no air raid in Baton ROuge...
Shea tweeted that Rettig wants to play in a pro-style system.

This
Even said Rettig was interested in them, but wanted to be in a pro system, even if it meant only throwing 20 times a game compared to the Leach offense.
Kid is obviously smart. LSU has put more QBs in the NFL than Leach's system, despite the numbers they put up

His coach said they run that style because of OL limitations, not to compliment leach.
I know things can change but I think we'll hold on to him. The depth chart and system are a perfect match.
Kudos to Krags for hitting the road and luring this one in.

He also name dropped Hal Mumme. Maybe he's trying to get an offer from McMurry University.

No, the coach was just explaining why they run the air raid offense (because they don't have a strong OL and want to get the ball out quick).

central probably still runs the air raid

You're just grouchy cause RN is still talking positively about LSU, even though Saban is carrying his illegitimate child.

I know recent history suggests otherwise, but QBs tend to commit early and stick, with all of them committing within weeks of each other. It's like musical chairs and someone just killed the music. Hopefully this is the case with Rettig.

ur a 2013 recruit?
Not for football I was for baseball. A lot of stuff happened so I'm not playing baseball to LSU. But I turned down all the other offers because I'm a tiger through and through. But I won't be playing baseball just a normal student. And I know a few of the guys LSU is after because im really close with a few of the guys LSU is looking at and have met some(none of my good friends have offers or I'd be in there eat all day about LSU

Seems like a nice kid and I'm really excited about his commitment. But did anyone else think it felt really awkward that somebody (maybe his coach?) could be heard on the radio in the background whispering to Rettig what to say?
