The link in the OP says 6'2, 215.

He threw some nice passes to kids that had beat their DB. Also, his offensive line was doin' work. He had no pressure and was able to read through, then throw the ball to an open guy.

Gardner is a smart QB who makes good decisions and fairly accurate throws. He may be listed 6'2" 215 but he is closer to 5'11 or 6'0 and might be 200 wet. He camped at Ole Miss multiple times and I believe we offered him a preferred walk-on spot. Don't think he has SEC arm strength, but Bo Wallace didn't after his labrum surgery and he was a pretty successful SEC QB his junior and senior years.

If he's 6'2, then I'm 6'1.

Juco football is horrible. It just is. Northwest also had one of the best running games in juco this year.

Gardner and Northwest looked rather pedestrian against the only "good" program in junior college football, a 49-16 loss to EMCC.

Nobody else is any good in juco football. Sorry. It's just the truth.

Yeah, EMCC likely repeats as JUCO National Champs if they don't get banned from the playoffs for the on field fight. JUCO ball is very inconsistent.

Remember, these are highlights. What I actually see is a QB who has happy feet and makes no real progressions. He seems effective in that system, but he telegraphs and appears to have one receiver in mind and he's slinging it. He will need a ton of work at the next level, imo.

The MACJC is one of the best leagues in JUCO. Northwest won the National Championship this year. EMCC would have probably won another championship if not being disqualified. Gulf Coast has been a powerhouse for years. Hinds and Co-Lin are also two very good programs. Pearl River and Jones, while struggling lately, are historically pretty good. Others like Northeast, Itawamba, Southwest are pretty inconsistent and MS Delta and Coahoma are pretty bad.

Juco football is horrible.

And got crushed by the best juco team in the country

In years past. Not recently.

Co-Lin has an OK program

And all these school presidents voted to implement a rule to prevent EMCC from continuing beating them by 60-75 points.

Gulf Coast has been ranked since 2003 and has not finished outside the top ten in 3 years. Co-Lin beat EMCC this year. EMCC has been going on a tear here lately. Not too long ago, EMCC was not very good. Bunch of talent comes out of MS JUCOs.

Bruh, you obviously pay attention. You can't tell me watching these games you can say, "Hey, these are two good football teams I'm watching."

The level of play in juco football is shite.

Depends. If Coahoma is playing MS Delta then yea but Gulf Coast vs EMCC. Last year when Gulf Coast played EMCC in the first round. GC had 6 players sign to the SEC and all 22 sophomores signed to a 4 year college. Not sure about EMCC but they had Swag Kelly, Pettaway from Alabama, and some O-Lineman went to Oklahoma.

Gulf Coast was winning at halftime and don't act like East was destroying GC all game. Couple of garbage time TDs made that game look like a blowout.

EMCC led 21-14 at the half, and scored its final touchdown with 9:43 to play.

Yea you are right, I was thinking of the year before. I was there for both games and I can tell that GC gave then all they wanted but in the end EMCC was stacked and have one of the best staffs in JUCO. But to say GC ain't a powerhouse is ridiculous.

I played back up qb behind this guy. And let me tell you. He's going to catch the College Football world by storm. His football intellect and drive to win is unrivaled. I dont need to talk about his skills, its on film. Gardner is someone who understands how to throw the ball according to the route. Which means every ball is not going to have heat behind. Anyone should be able to judge his arm strength based how easy it is for him to throw the deep ball on film. He's not struggling, he's not using excessively long hitches and there is no wind up "tebow-like" throwing motion. The ball flies out of his hand effortlessly. Talent and height will only get you so close a championship. Gardner will go to a D-1 school and light defenses up "TOM BRADY" style.. let that sink in.

I go to church with his family and he's not a small frail kid by any stretch! Granted he's not a 6'5" prototype but he's every bit of 6'1 and around 210-215lbs! If he takes after his dad then he will easily add another 25 lbs of muscle with the right strength and conditioning program! The kid is a gamer and comes from a great family!
