I'd still give him a scholarship......

This improves our chances at getting him imo. Miles' track record with stuff like this is impeccable

But Elliott Porter was asked to grey shirt that one time.

Didn't we have a commit from a year or so ago that was injured and honored his commitment

Man that sucks. Wish him the best in his recovery.

Godchaux tore his ACL. That running back that wound up going to Oklahoma State snapped his leg and he honored that too

Yep, our starting DT for most of the year.

Chances Bama still pursues him? Gotta think with their loaded class they wont have room for a guy coming off serious injury.

Tony Brown had a bad injury did he not?

Wishing a speedy recovery. I would expect the kid to come back stronger. I wouldn't back off. Medicine is too advanced these days to give up on most players.

frick that is sad to hear. Hope he recovers 100% and hopefully it's at LSU.

I broke my left leg in 2 places, both bones in the Bastrop/Quachita game years ago.
It took 8 weeks to get the cast off. 2 weeks in a soft cast, until the swelling went down, and 6 weeks in a hard cast. I had to use crutches for about a month. It was the 3rd game of the year in Sept.. It took a whole year to heal and not swell or ache. He can heal and come back the next year. Might make it by August practice.

Brown was just a shoulder injury and couldn't play in the All-American Game. Pretty sure he was fine after that

Addai was also a player that had a bad injury during recruitment.

I think Les was scheduled for an in-home visit this week with him, hope they are still able to make that happen, offer some encouragement to the young man.

Yep, that would be the right thing to do by the staff.

Hope he recovers well. AU just pulled their offer.......book it
Posted on 1/20/15 at 8:55 pm to tigers32
Sounds like he was going to need time to develop anyway, so as long as it's something that will heal, I wouldn't pull the scholly offer.

may be a dumb question but can he re-reclassify to 2016?
