I'm not sure if he is good enough for LSU. I am leaning that he is, but his lack of mobility scares me. Anyway all we need is a smart Qb that can distribute the ball to our freak of nature athletes at RB and WR. So I say we take him and Franks and let them duke it out a couple years down the road.

Also if this is true he will most likely get an offer at camp, so get ready for that Kelley haters!

He has offers to Arkansas and Oklahoma State already

Wouldn't be shocked to see him shut it down

I never realized he was one of the kids in the truck last year when that ULL student opened fire and killed one of the kids in the truck.

Not in the same league or zip code, but the Super Bowl winning QB has zero mobility either...

I wonder if this has anything to do with our feels about getting any of the other QBs we are after, or if this is a pure depth move.

Maybe it's because he's worthy

It would be a great move for the long term. Let Franks get some PT in 2016 while Kelley redshirts. Let him develop and by the time his opportunity presents itself, he is a RS-Jr or RS-Sr with a ton of experience in the offense. If we bring in the "ready to play" recruits every year, transfers will continue to be an issue. I think it would be a great signing.

yes, he got caught up in a very unfortunate incident and he as well as the starting qb for stm (bellamy) are actually testifying this week. sad all around.

sorry but this is stupid.

the dude that put up one of the more statistically prolific seasons in LSU history wasn't mobile either, yet we're still scared of that sort of thing?

heck, I'm still questioning why the staff is leaning heavily towards mobile qb's when it's the drop-back passer that has yielded the most success under Miles.
