Posters are rioting and telling others to leave and go to Billy’s site at On3. They are not mad at Sonny or Shea but they want to hang Wiltfong over LSU players constantly dropping while bama players always getting the bump.

Bama bumps and LSU drops have been going on since Saban has been at bama. This is nothing new but this year is where they are outraged lol

I've been hearing about the Bama bias on recruiting rankings for 25+ years. Long before Saban moved south. Back then, it was my Auburn friends telling me how bias Forrest Davis was, which was true. He was the guru and huge Bama homer in Hoover, AL. LINK

It’s like that every time they do their final rankings release and it’s not just the LSU board. It’s been like that since Barton was involved in the rankings.

To be fair
Bama wins more than anyone else in CFB so the "bumps" are hard to deny (across the board).
The problem is dropping great players that don't deserve the drop.

It’s abstract, but it’s a feedback loop. There is an admitted bias when it comes to guys who rank recruiting. If Bama looks at a guy, they freely admit that they instantly re-evaluate him. They don’t even try to hide it now.
That Bama Bump doesn’t affect anything on the field directly, but is definitely has an indirect impact. It continually adds to Bama’s prestige, especially in the eyes of recruits who know committing to Bama will absolutely up their ratings. Now that can translate to more NIL money, so it’s not an insignificant thing. Bama’s ever-increasing prestige then continuously feeds back into the Bumps and the cycle continues.
Again, this doesn’t directly determine anything, but it does show how biased the system is. It also shows that many of these talent evaluators really aren’t that special. They often rely on certain coaches to do their jobs for them and charge us for the privilege of that “insight.”
From this perspective, I’m all for lots of fans from schools who get up in arms over this dropping pay sites that do this shite. If they can’t get their acts together, evaluate players accurately, and stick to that assessment, then what is the point in paying for their product?

I understand people being mad about the rankings but as long as we get the players we need I’m happy regardless of what their rankings are.
