We have 2 that are willing and ready to flip as soon as we greenlight them to do so. Evans even hesitates on his LOI and we pull the trigger. Both are out of state kids.

Really odd to have 2 “elite” (Shea’s words) out of state RBs just waiting to conditionally flip to us. Zero smoke ab any other backs before Evans started playing games. Just a really unusual situation.

The staff maintains constant contact with an ungodly amount of recruits. Even guys they never expect to make it into the class simply for this reason. So just because someone isn't being talked about regularly doesn't mean they aren't being recruited in some capacity.

I bet they are two top 200-250 recruits out of Texas, one who has some really nice accolades.

I get it. But If one of them isn’t Clayton (not sure anyone would put him in elite category) or Milton(has always appeared to be 100% locked in with UGA) then they would be ab as out of left field as it gets that I can ever recall.

Vol, if Evans isn't in this class, are we taking two RBs? Or would we have one flip and hold the other for any surprise no-shows?

With numbers as tight as they are, I would assume we take one regardless.

So Shea is reading the board and commenting somewhere else or did you ask him personally?

I mean I’ve drank beers with Sir Rohan before and like to boast that I know him to gain e-cred but no I asked him on 24/7. And he said these were 2 elite top 20 RBs.

I misunderstood your post. I thought you were saying he didn’t believe it. I understand now.

Yeah I’m not doubting the case at all just remarking at how unusual it is. You’ve been around long enough to know, really bizarre in a great way situation.

Yes and while I’ve had my share of “disputes” with posters here, Sir Rohan has always been cool.
I guess when you’re the top team in the country, recruits want to play for you.
National exposure and Joe Burrow’s stardom have put LSU in a good place.

I’m thinking one of them is this guy LINK
quote:

An elite local talent out of Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep, Berger's 247Sports profile lists 30 offers, including "warm" interest from five national programs recruiting him.
Rutgers is joined by LSU, Penn State, UCLA and Wisconsin among the suitors for Berger, who is scheduled to announce his commitment Jan. 4 at the All-American Bowl.

ETA But he isn’t committed anywhere so perhaps not.

Tank Bigsby visited in April. That would be a shocker.
