Im so impressed with who is in this class and if we finish strong locking up the guys we need (Fulton, Lawrence, Giles, ScottJr etc) I honestly wouldn't care if we were shafted on the rankings and finished #5 or something
after all, just look at all the freshman that played this year that should have been 5 stars like Teuhema, Clapp, Key, DJ and Guice. Im content with how this staff evaluates talent

The only no1 ranking that matters in recruiting is from ESPN. They are the only ones who have the media outlet to play up that angle. Great exposure for LSU.

Adding Lawrence and Fulton gets us to 295, good chance we wind up at or just under 300 points. Bama has 246 right now. You thinking they land multiple 5* on NSD or something? that's a lot of points to make up

Recruiting class rankings are a bigger farce than NFL Mock drafts.
What matters is finding players who fit your system, are dedicated, coach able, and want to win. Not to mention , the coaching staff needs to be able to get the most out of the players.
Could have all "5 stars" (subjective), & if not developed properly, their stars don't mean a damn thing Come game day . Plus, the recruiting sites are biased/rigged, based off the interests of the site holders
