I had the same exact thoughts as you.
One coach that would line up with Iota's 2 statements in this thread would be Lincoln Riley; but I just don't think that's who Woodward would try far.
But Riley has been described as "brilliant", "intelligent", and having a "photographic memory" in articles before. Plus he would certainly have to be wooed as he is already at a big time P5 program that is set to enter the SEC; so it's not like the advantages of conference can even be used here. I think he also alluded to needing to pair with a big time DC and we all know that Riley certainly needs that.
