I definitely saw your son walking on Napoleon Avenue on Mardi Gras Day. There aren't too many 6-8 355 baws walking around wearing Mandeville football shirts. Needless to say, your boy definitely "looks the part." He's absolutely massive. I hope that his recruitment takes off.

Mackey sounds better than Andre the giant, as fitting as it might be

He'll do well at ULL. With Napier there at head coach, they will win a lot of games and he will get exposure. All Jokes aside, UL have put a lot of players in the NFL

I’ve heard of UL as in the University of Louisville. That is the only university that legitimately uses that abbreviation.

This is awesome. I remember you talking about him when he wasn’t a even starter, and now he might get an LSU offer

He’s got the blueprint. He’s constantly working on his footwork, which is the biggest need for any OL, but at his size is not the easiest. I’m really hoping there’s a camp this July for him to showcase his hard work and I’d like to remind folks that Mackey did well, REALLY well against Guillory in the playoffs this past fall.

Cincinnati Bowtie
Who dis?

He’s signed up for both LSU lineman camps and the elite camp in June (three straight weekends), plus the MHS squad is going to Nicholls again. No clue at this point if those will happen.

I was about to sign him up for a bunch of other camps when the quarantine hit.

Thanks for the great comments!

Best of luck to him! Sounds like well raised kid with good head on his shoulders. Will be interesting to follow his progression.

With O's ties to Mandeville High this kid should be a no brainer, but he is def a OG and not a OT. He even says he prefers OG over OT, ridiculous size, best of luck to you and your son.

I like Coach Campbell’s philosophy.
