But I thought LSU was the "debil" for being the worst one, according to ESPN?
Oh that's right, ESPN hates LSU.

its a one yr deal and they really need to get over this oversigning and player attrition regardless the reason. CFB is a business or we wouldnt be paying coaches the money we do to win games.

Yeah, the oversigning uproar is pure bullshite.
Nerds lose academics scholarships every single year because they spent more time trying to get into a frat than they did into their books.
If an athlete gets a scholarship to play football, but slacks off and never sees the field, how in the hell does he merit a free education for 4 years?

Let's say a kid takes an offer from LSU and has a great freshmen year, but doesn't think the coaches, team or whatever are living up to his expectations then he should be able to go play anywhere he wants without being penalized.

There are really at least 2 separate issues with oversigning.
1. Signing more than the 25 that the NCAA allows to enroll each year, which is done when there are players signed that may not qualify. This only leads to some players having to take gray shirts if more than expected qualify. As long as the coaches are upfront with kids who may have to take gray shirts, then I have no problem with this.
2. Signing more than you have room to enroll under the 85 scholarship limit. This is a stickier issue to me. This leads to current players on scholarship having their scholarship taken away. The biggest problem I see with this practice is that coaches, almost certainly, when recruiting these kids are offering them a free education and at least 4 years on scholarship. I doubt many coaches tell a kid if someone better comes along they may be cut loose. I am not sure what the solution to this problem is, but if SEC coaches keep abusing this practice, I suspect the NCAA is going to make new rules about this.

This would throw NCAA Football (or any sport) into complete turmoil.

All people involved in recruiting know that it's not a 4 year contract. My little brother was recruited by Tennessee and Penn State and they actually told him this. They don't promise that you can come in, do nothing and have 4 years of free education. Every day is a competition. I think most good coaches won't take a scholarship from a player if he is doing his best. He may never start but if he works out, stays out of trouble and puts his best forward they generally renew their scholly. Problem is you get guys in that don't work as hard as they could, may be having problems in class room or getting in trouble, may be putting on too much weight and you know they will never contribute on the field. Those guys gotta get weeded out. How would it be fair for one guy to be busting his butt doing everything he can and another guy just getting by because he is already on scholarship?

Scholies are for one year only and are reviewed each year with some not being given the next year. All coaches do this, including Miles.
