Make whatever excuse you want, bottom line the recruiting is the worst I’ve seen since before Saban got here. Don’t want to hear your BS about NIL either… every one else has figured it out.

You instant gratification douchbags need to just let the recruiting season play out. Jesus christ man, you have no idea how recruiting is gonna go if you dont let the damn man do his job. If recruiting consistantly goes off the rail, I will tow that line with you, but damn lets wait to see what happens.

So we just continue to be stupid and have low expectations of our student athletes. Jesus Christ some of you idiots are insufferable. !!!!!

Did two nerve endings in your brain momentarily connect to come up with that erudite comment? Sorry, but now you will have to find a dictionary. Seriously, please make some effort to come up with something better than that.

Recruiting is nothing more than NIL deals now.

As you know, statistically, only a very small portion of these kids will go on to be pros and make Millions. So, if they have a chance to garner that kind of money based on potential and not production, they would be stupid not to maximize that.

It's only about the Benjamins. We just need to figure out how to compete at a different game now.

No sir, the stupid ones are the ones putting their hard earned money in the pockets of 17 and 18 year olds with no commitment to stay around for longer that 6 months. NIL will kill college football.

Kelly will have to show recruits the improvements. He absolutely crushed it the portal last year. Dandy Don's Scott mentioned 6 stud players verbally committing in the next week. If we get 3-4 of those we're are in good shape.

Texas is barely above .500 the last 2 years and has the #1 class right now. It's way more about the money than about the record.

And Dec will come and go with LSU ending up with the smallest % of Top 10 (maybe Top 20 too) instate players in the last 25 + years.
But we can grab another dozen 3 stars with a couple of 2 stars from the portal to field a roster next season.

Never said it was anything to do with Coach O.And it isn’t LSU’s money dumbass.NIL equals us expecting some rich alumni to give some dumbass 17-18 year old $200k-$1million to come play football for us for absolutely nothing in return also with the chance they transfer later on.If you think for one second that if Texas,Texas A&M,and LSU are in a bidding war for a player and it comes down to purely a money deal that we are going to win you are lying to yourself.Look at A&Ms class last year that wasn’t because Jimbo is a great recruiter I can promise you.LSU will always be solid we do have the resources but if it comes down to pure money deals don’t expect to get one of the top 5-10 players in the country unless they just really want to play for LSU

Situation is a bigger cesspool than professional sports. Completely out of control right now.

Exactly you can’t have fair competitiveness if there is no cap,no transfer regs, and just let everybody do whatever they want. The NCAA let the cat out the bag and it isn’t going back in unfortunately

I think BK will change the way LSU recruits, and I expect lower numbers of HS recruits each year followed by a lot of portal transfers. Why waste all your space on a bunch of four stars that historically miss about 50% of the time. Instead sign the ones you are more sure of and leave the other spots unfilled. Then get proven guys from the farm teams, such as Ole Miss and Aggie.

Penn St is 5th in rankings, Baylor is 9th, Cincy is 10th, T-Tech is 11th, Northwestern is 13th, Purdue is 19th, Minnesota is 20th, ALL higher than Alabama.

Why don't we just take a deep breath and see how things shake out, yes?

There's "committable offers" and "non committable" offers. This is why you see Bama lingering in the back of the rankings during some recruiting cycles. A lot of their targets are waiting for an "okay" from the staff in order to commit. Its a numbers game for Bama.
