So SLo,, Yes or no,,
OK, So is this class a good to great one or not?
How about a straight answer that you'll stand behind!

For me, I'm Damn happy with this class!
I think it will turn out to be one of our better ones,, I really have no criticisms of it... Could be better! Could be one Hell of a lot Worse!!!

Since you know all about who should play, what offense we should run, what a good class looks like, why are you posting here instead of enjoying your sucessful coaching/recruiting/scouting career?

do you disagree with my comments about the offense?

I asked you, what i thought, a legit question about your feelings toward LSU.

Would I have liked to see the offense do somethign different than lose? Yes. Do I think we could have installed a triple option during the season, no.

I think Lee showed enough flashes of greatness that he kept the coaches from doing what needed to be done.

I can see other coaches playing the odds and staying with Lee, including your Fuhrer $aban.

Sorry, But you just seem to rub people (or maybe just me) the wrong way!

You will never be completely happy with anything about this team or coach...

which is why we needed more sprinkles

triple option

spread option

wildcat

etc

So, if I understand you correctly, you want the offense to bea mixture of the following:

What we have now:

1. Pro style
2. Spread

Plus

3. triple option
4. spread option
5. wildcat

No offense, but that comment really comes across as coming from someone who has never played the game and has no appreciation for the intracacies of teaching, implementing, and effectively executing an offense.

there's nothing complicated about the wildcat, and multiple teams installed it this offseason

it's really 1 play with a throw MAYBE thrown in once every 10 times you run it...maybe

quote:

3. triple option

again, it's mainly 1 play, being run by players who have run it before.

with offseason from the title game until august, we had 7 full months to install essentially 2 plays

yeah, i think our coaches and team are capable of it

Well, not if you're at a school that can attract top-talents. But if you're Navy, GT, Air Force, etc.

i'm talking about implementing it in the offseason before the year. just as a sprinkle/curve ball for the offense

i didn't expect the coaches to pull a UTenn and implement the zone-read like they did the week before the SECCG in 2007

if all we're doing is running the option, you could just put in one of the mitchells, who were option QBs in HS

i mean if that isn't feasible, then yeah my idea is dumb. i think they could do this, however
