Why do you think LSU has been and will continue to be great in football for years to come. In state talent like no other. I bet you several of those schools ranked ahead of us would love to come in and take some of the instate recruits from us. Hell I bet if a coach could do that routinely and mix LA kids with his own he could set that school up for decades of success. That would suck. Good thing we prioritize our guys while only reaching for elite prospects outside the state. Remember LA ranks as one of the highest NFL producers...why would we look elsewhere often?

You can look at Underwood (Michigan), Meadows (Nevada) and Pickett (Florida) and say LSU isn't recruiting well out of state?

Exactly how far outside of Louisiana do you think they need to go?

No idea how 6 people could upvote this. We got the #1 overall player in the country committed. A QB no less. Even if he was the only out of state guy we signed the whole class our out of state recruiting would be a success.

Underwood maybe our best ever recruit and highest ranked. I cannot believe this dude was being serious or it’s the stupidest comment I’ve read on here (which is saying a lot)

Maybe OP should have some patience before making foolish statements. Clearly this aged like milk

The evidence suggesting otherwise is in the op. None have more instate commits, all ranked ahead of us. They all have better oos classes than us. When even facts, fully available for all to see in this very thread, contradicts it, the sunshine just keeps on shining. There's really no reasoning with those that choose not to accept reason as an answer.

LSU currently has the number 3 ranked class according to On3 and the two teams ahead have 5 and 6 more commits respectively. I’m not even sure what you are arguing here.
