Seriously smart move by Prime to recognize Miller’s situation and swoop in.

Not sure why Rhule hasn't tried harder to keep him with Nebraska

Because it’s Rhule. Nebraska is seriously screwed with that hire.

You're literally the first person I've seen/heard with that opinion. Everyone else pretty much says it's a home run hire.

Yea, Rhule was by far the best hire of the season.

Some people just make better college coaches. He seems to be that type.

Rhule is the pinnacle hire for Nebraska. They couldn’t get a better coach if they offered 15 mil a year.

I do think Rhule dropped the ball on this one by not continuing to pursue Miller following Frost's & Joseph's departure. They're in need of solid receivers with their best one (Trey Palmer) headed to the NFL.

Why would we want him now? We got Anderson, Parker, Brown, and Sampson. All of which are arguably better. If he wants to come here and ride the pine 3 years to provide depth he's welcome to.

Not buying that but if so , Nebraska will see very little of the fruit. If he's moderately successful he will bail when an actual big boy calls. Tom Osborne, his strength and conditioning program(steroids) nor the triple option are coming back. Nebraska will never be a meaningful program again on a national stage. Kansas Sts arch from Snyder until now is about the best they could hope for these days. It's a stepping stone job. In Rhules case, a rehab the reputation job.

I would have preferred Broussard over Miller anyway.

Maybe he just didn’t want him? Gotta say any kid who just up and commits to Colorado probably isn’t one that I’d want on my rebuild roster anyway.

I have no doubt he will leave for a bigger job. It’s going to be hard to recruit players to Nebraska. Rhule isn’t going to win a championship there but I think he is the best they could hope for.

That is just crazy thinking. Most kids that commit to CU chances are high they will get immediate playing time. They just went 1-11 I'm sure most them incoming players will beat out the past players. CU had a damn receiver in his 7th year on roster with like 15 catches. Lol
