Is it harder or easier to tackle in a shitty conference?

It'd be easier to tackle because the players are not as fast or strong as in the SEC. I think Speights will be a very solid player for us, but it is definitely easier to tackle in a bad conference than it is in the SEC because of the caliber of players.

comes downhill well.. not elite speed... doesnt rush the QB well but thats not what he does.. got perkins for that... really attacks RBs well and really quick recognition... thats a great get...

He’s a coverage linebacker but he does not play run well chooses bad angles and doesn’t fit the whole well

I’m sure his rep for being injury prone before this season had a lot to do with that. In retrospect, it was the safer move for Kelly knowing Brennan also had injury issues, Nuss had little experience and Howard wouldn’t be a factor.
Glad to see Pennix shed that this season and showed what he can do, though. He’s got a ton of talent and a huge arm.

He's looks OK but not outstanding. Gets to the plays a lil late, no high end speed. I hope he turns out to be great and proves me wrong. We need plenty help at that position.
