Y'all aren't reading Neal's reply correctly. He's just saying it's not breaking news. Everyone at Ole Miss has been saying Winnie would go to LSU since Lane left.

While i absolutely can’t stand ole miss, I have a friend who is a die hard rebel and he has been saying Watkins was coming all along. Like from the day that lane signed with us. Just hope we can get some o lineman to follow

Seems a bit of an emotional response to an unbiased, non-LSU-affiliated standard post like hundreds of others that are going out daily. Had it been in response to an LSU fan post gloating about “stealing” an OM player then maybe. Instead he throws a bit of a tantrum.

Yep. Some don’t realize the day in the sun is ending. Because of what LK built OM has a talented team returning, and they are going to bring in a strong portal class. But they’re starting over from the standpoint of being the darling of CFB. Once 2026 kicks off it’s 0-0, and while some media will hang on to the Kiffin narrative, the interest in it will die once OM loses a couple games. We’ll see what Golding is made of.
