Our OL recruiting has been great and it’s shaping up perfectly for the 2025 class. Right now, we’re either trending for or have commitments from:

Tyler Miller #3 IOL (commit)
Micah DeBose #4 IOL
Devin Harper #6 IOL (commit)
Carius Curbe #7 IOL
Brett Bordelon #25 IOL (commit)

Lamont Rogers #8 OT

That would give us a crazy OL haul with six very talented guys. Does anyone know which positions the five IOL project for? Are any of them expected to play Tackle or Center for us?

Apparently Carius, Miller & Rogers can be outside players. Rest are interior guys.

I’ve said this in a number of threads but CBK and Brad preach positional versatility. They want to build depth and have guys that can step into multiple positions if needed.

I can definitely see Carius playing OT. He moves really well for his size and plays LT for his HS.

Brian Kelly players at Notre Dame will do something in this years NFL Draft, that LSU, will do in next years draft. That’s, have both OT drafted into the NFL, the same year.

ND’s Blake Fisher and Joe Alt, this year.
LSU to follow next year with Will Campbell and Emery Jones.
Kelly’s time at ND, he had 11 players drafted into the NFL. In 2021, he had 3 OL drafted, both OT’s and a guard.
Next year, we could see 4 of the 5 starting OL drafted, from LSU. The two OG should have a shot in the NFL Draft also.

Another LSU OL, Center Charles Turner, might have a shot at getting drafted. At least a UDFA shot.

Bingo. Kelly's specialty is OL and TE. He's put a ton of guys in the league at those positions and that's why you're gonna see those same positions here bring in elite players.

This is a glimpse of how he's managed to win so many games over the years. He's always been able to put together NFL olines. If you can control the ball/clock you can stay in games you shouldn't win, and put away teams that you are better than.
