I see mobility, a mean streak, and a great frame to add weight. This is a take all day for me. He's a project fo sure, but I think that project will pay dividends down the road. Also being a basketball player he may have good hands and could be a 3rd tight end. Lot of possibilities.

You want the long arms but isn't the high center of gravity a disadvantage? I know there are some taller linemen in the NFL but I would think 6'5-6'6 would be optimal.
There’s a couple players that have been tall at tackle. Eagles have a 6’8 366 pound left tackle whose one of the best tackles in the league

Johnathan Ogden was only a HOF at 6”9… Not saying this kid can remotely be that, but it’s not impossible although not ideal…

My bad. I thought he went to Co-Lin a year before he came to LSU

Jarmaine is closer to 6'7" than 6'9", fwiw

As I recall, Big Whit was pretty good at 6' 7"

Really good interview by Jerit with Jarmaine...he was ineligible at St. James his junior season due to not focusing on school his freshman/sophomore year of high school, got grades back in order to play his senior season and was basically a JUCO only recruit (probably due to overall grades by graduation not being enough for D1). Ended up at Co-Lin and Brad Davis has been on him ever since he got to LSU in 2021 and likes him a lot. Really good story of a kid trying to make it out a tough situation and provide for his family sounds like.
