While true, of the 2 5 stars, the latest commitment was 5/31/19, the other in 2018. So what caused the big jump?

Lsu will end up with the #5 class once Georgia surges up the rankings...if Jarrett decommits we might drop lower...still a great freaking class though so I'm not complaining...if LSU has a great year again I think we take another step up in recruiting which would be fantastic..

LSU has 5 top 100 recruits.
We have a kicker signed who is going to grey shirt which drags down the average rating.
And Ohio State has a 5-star RB commiting on Aug. 2.
Both LSU and Ohio State have great classes.
There's nothing nefarious going on.

I love how you guys act like it's a conspiracy. Their class was neck and neck with ours and they landed a high level commit. That's why it's #2, not some bullshite tinfoil hat conspiracy.

Looks wrong but higher 4* add way more points than lower 4*.
It’s possible.
The problem is they will update the rankings again and Bama will move up by grading higher overall. It’s happened the last few years. The last time people said we had less negative ratings than Bama but the overall rating greatly favored Bama.
I think the difference between Clemson and Bama players last year showed biased ratings doesn’t equate to better players.
That’s why you trust the coaches evaluations and Dabo seems to be very good at it.

I hope you realize it is all numbers based. Before Ransom committed, we could have calculated exactly how much their class would have improved. It's not like the 247 staff just picked Ohio State on a whim.
