dk about that.

QB sneaks last about 1 second.

I would rather he than harris at this point though simply because of familiarity with the offense and practice time with the team

Things got real fast when he fumbled earlier this year

A Sophomore. Why do you ask? I just said it was an interesting read.

I think he's trying to make it look like I was talking about sophomores as well. I'm not talking about sophomores. I'm talking about true freshmen, which Harris will be. He will have no business seeing the field next year, IMO.

Boy this thread sure has gone to Poo...I thought this was about #riding4quille, not a QB pissing match.

Well, we're talking about who would be throwing to Williams next year, so it fits.

Let's end it with this:
quote:

Alright, let's keep cool. IMO Harris will redshirt, Rettig is a quite capable back-up and will be there in case Jennings isn't up to par. And who knows, Rivers may not leave, he is also capable of competing for the starting job.

Yes, I just quoted myself, DWI.

So then you can't tell me any true freshmen QB's that's brought instant success to a program? I'm not doubting there's ever been a couple here and there......

Never said instant success. Just my opinion that he could be just as impressive as Jennings was when he came in and became the backup as a true freshmen. Why is it hard to believe that AJ or BH could be just as good or better than Nick Marshall. I just haven't seen much from the guy that say he's head and shoulders above what LSU has in the fold.

Had to go to the sideline and retrieve his heart from his colon.

Because Nick Marshall's team is heading into a game where they're playing for the SEC West title with National Championship implications.

Then, why is Quille even considering LSU?

I think BH can come in and push Jennings a bit. Give him a reason to play harder, but that's about it. Look at Jaboo. He's awesome, but he also took a redshirt last year. Held a clipboard and had an entire year to get familiar with FSU's system. I see it playing out in a similar fashion for Harris. Maybe not as good as Winston, but then again he could be. Anyway, I just don't see BH starting next year.

Different offensive philosophies?

Closer to home?

I'm pretty sure it had everything to do with Nick Marshall though, right?

I don't know. You know way more than I do. I just have opinions. You have facts.

I'll be sure to wait on that long list of true freshman QB's that have come right in and became instantly successful.

2. Go watch film on Malachi Dupre, Speedy Noil and Trey Quinn. Mix them with D'Haquille and we have more weapons out wide next year than this year. D'haquille on Auburn = most attention in passing game. D'haquille on LSU = less focus because other three can kill you as well

Multiple weapons is a plus! Even Ole Miss can shut down a "premier" target. Hell, OM wouldn't be the same if they didn't have Treadwell AND Moncrief on the field at the same time.

Anyone remember the first couple of years of the West Coast offense at San Francisco (if you're a Saints fan and old enough you probably do). That was the first time I remember "all those weapons" and "pick your poison" were gushed about that much. Walsh and Montana taught the NFL a lesson; CFB has expanded on it with HUNH and Spread offenses.

If someone that is committed has to make an announcement that would seem to me that he's announcing for a different school. Maybe im wrong but common sense says he's going to pick LSU

Its never been an LSU vs AU battle.

Its always been his personal baggage, and now it's just a matter of the other WR's in the class being willing to co-exist.

AU is the Deangelo Benton parachute plan.
