Like I said, if that's the case.....LSU is in trouble next year.

...because no one is capable of coming in and playing well as a freshmen QB in the mighty SEC. Gotcha. Lol.

If we got Williams and not Hootie, would you be satisfied?

I don't really like to compare because it's unfair to the recruits. Both are extremely talented players and I really want both to choose LSU, but William's position is much deeper than Hootie's, so I would prefer it to be the other way around (if it has to be one or the other)

when I watch AJ, I think of Russell Wilson or Jeff Garcia, but admittedly I haven't seen much of him besides the Spring Game and the very few snaps he's had this year. He is not a big guy, but tall enough. He can accelerate to get a first down on a scramble, but he is not Michael Vick or Cam Newton with his feet. Rocket arm, but with nice touch.

and in '15 will balance out, which will mean a National Championship caliber team

Not that I've revealed some riveting, never-before-thought-of information, but immediately after the 2012 season I was telling people look out for 2015. Of course, I got mocked and whatnot for looking ahead so much.

But those people don't follow recruiting like we do.

It all comes together though. Our secondary will be unbelievably talented, deep and experienced. Our QB will have a year under his belt. The class of 2013 will be sophomores. It's going to be awesome.

playing as a true freshman QB in the SEC usually means you are going to lose several games, and pretty much every road game. That's based on history.

Don't compare a true frosh QB with a true frosh CB or RB.

Yeah, on the rant and some here will say Miles will never achieve anything again and we're all doomed for a 3-4 loss season every year.

There are none. Never will be any, sir. Only RS Freshmen can come in and play well. But, since AJ will be a soph surely he won't play well (or better than Nick Marshall did this season). Thanks for clearing that up. I won't have an opinion going forward.

Oh, you're one of those guys. Say something and just back it up with being a smartass and never answering the question.

So again, name a few true freshmen QB's, doesn't even have to be in the SEC, that has come in and led a team to a 10+ winning season.

Don't worry, I'll wait. Go google.

Nah. Since you know everything before it happens, I will withdraw my opinion and let you tell everyone how all will playout.

Begin. I'll hang up and listen.

Alright, let's keep cool. IMO Harris will redshirt, Rettig is a quite capable back-up and will be there in case Jennings isn't up to par. And who knows, Rivers may not leave, he is also capable of competing for the starting job.

If Jennings starts. Not as much if it were Harris starting.

Jennings has game experience. Exposure to the speed of the game. Exposure to S/C. A year and a half of experience under his belt. In the system longer.

MUCH more than Harris would have, correct? ...and I'm probably not even scratching the surface.

He'll be a sophomore. Harris will be a true freshman. hopefully a redshirted true freshman.

A Sophomore. Why do you ask? I just said it was an interesting read.

idk about that.

QB sneaks last about 1 second.

I would rather he than harris at this point though simply because of familiarity with the offense and practice time with the team

So then you can't tell me any true freshmen QB's that's brought instant success to a program? I'm not doubting there's ever been a couple here and there......
