That situation kind of illustrates why LSU is considered such a prime CFB job. Pennsylvania lacks serious in state talent and isn’t beloved enough by local players to stay committed regardless of head coach uncertainty.

They don’t have a coach. And some in the national media wanted LSU to not sign and announce Lane until after the playoffs. That would have played really well.
