All of our guys stayed with us and we got Bower, and we are done by noon!! This was a great, stress free NSD!

Is this the first class ever to not sign a running back?

According to Rivals, you are correct.Incredible depth. I wonder how many we will try to get next year? I imagine Hilliard will declare.

I hope everybody liked the style of play from Mingo and Montgomery...
Mingo is 6'5", 240 lbs, and ran a 4.55 40
Montgomery is 6'5", 260 lbs, and ran a 4.65 40
Bower is 6'5", 241 lbs, and runs a 4.8 40
Herron is 6'5", 245 lbs, and runs a 5.1 40
The new guys may not be quite as fast right now, but they're still plenty fast and I'm looking forward to watching them compete to start on the best D line in the SEC!

Why Hilliard?
He's got work to do to earn PT. Especially if Blue comes back 100%.
Hill will be clear projected #1, then Blue (if healthy), Hilliard will be #3 most likely.
I hope he works hard and pushes for PT and performs like he did at the end of his first season. But I think declaring for the NFL would be a bad decision for any #3 RB. IMHO

Just took a look at the hilight films for our 2 new QBs, our WRs, and our TEs. They look like the real deal - QBs who can throw, or run and throw; WRs who catch (yes, it's a hi-light film), and TEs who block, have bulk, and can catch the ball. If they get coached like they should, we might well be looking at All-SEC, even All-Americans here! I'm impressed!

As per Cutrer and Lawson:
Scott (on 02 February, on dandydon.com) said: "As I mentioned a couple of days ago, it's looking like Cutrer will not qualify and will have to go the JUCO route before making his way to LSU. Cutrer had not yet gone on his official visit to LSU, so I assume he just wanted to take it all in and see what’s in store for him when he becomes qualified to join the team."
Scott said on 01 February: "As I mentioned yesterday, Lawson is kind of in limbo and might not end up as part of this class."

I was at Wishington Marion signing day event. Melvin is a god kid. A true talent with goid upbringing. Watches him plalot and he has "It". Deceptive speed and loves contact. I took pics but I dont know how to upload them here.

After further review. I think this will be our best class in history. I think 6 guys have legit shots at the first round.
Herron
Bower
Beckwith
White
D. Smith
Pocic/Boutte
Of course its 3 to 4 years away, but I'm really excited over what these kids will do.
